Hi. I use Ecover products for my cleaning stuff quite often.

I emailed them the other day about gluten in their products and got a very nice email back. The only product they manufacture that contains gluten is their aloe/lemon dishsoap.

(the very one I had on my counter....)

Other than that, Gluten Free! and good for the environment too.

Thanks for posting about this company. I was wondering if their products were gluten-free.

Dishsoap--that's random! Thanx for posting--I use some of their products too. On a side note--I also use Seventh Generation and Earth Friendly products too...good stuff :)

I use Ecover cleaning products, as well as Seventh Generation, and some of the other environmentally friendly companies too. I like to keep the chemical load down as much as possible and I am so super sensitive to the harsh smell of the regular stuff.

It's good to know most everything is gluten free, I will take note about the dishsoap.

Thanks for the information Bully4You

Aaaarghhh!!!!!!!!!!! ...and that stuff ain't cheap! and I just bought another one today!!!!!

I looked on the back because I liked it so much, I wanted to see what was in it. "Wheat proteins!!!" WHAT??? I've bought three containers since diagnosis. I know I have to give it up, even if I'm not 100% sure it's been affecting me. I just love the way it suds up and the handleability.

Can NOT believe this! (I wonder if ALL their dish soaps contain Gluten or only this lemon variety, which smells so good.)

Ecover posts all their ingredients on their website. For example: Open Original Shared Link

Thanks!

I "exchanged" it today at Whole Foods, so I did not lose any money. I say exchanged in quotation marks because guess what they did with the lemon dish soap I returned?

Threw it in the trash can.

I said, "Nooooooooooo!!!" and he said yes. Can you believe it? Whole Foods. They didn't even recycle it!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
