After seeing someone post on here about S'Better Farms having gluten-free corndogs I decided to give them a try. I bought them a couple weeks ago not sure if I had the courage to try them. Well tonight I was being lazy and didn't feel like making anything so I decided tonight was the night. I was truly suprised how good it was. It's a corndog so lets not go crazy here - I mean it's not like this is the best thing I've ever eaten but I gotta tell you, if you want a corndog this is really good; and definately kid friendly.

I just heard about S'Better Farms and have been thinking of trying their chicken fingers!

Where did ya find them? Whole Foods?

I haven't been able to find these in my area... I've been e-mailing back and forth with the company and they told me Ingles has them, but ALL the Ingles in my area have closed! Sheesh!

I found them at this place Mrs. Greens. They have several locations in Westchester, NY & Connecticut

I can attest that S'Better farms make the best corndog I have ever had. That said, they cost way too much. :(

Does anyone know anything about the ingrediate "Cooked milled rice?" It's on the list. I know it's gluten free, but it sounds sort of weird and I'd like to know more.

In Vegas (and in So-Cal), they carry them at some Albertson's grocery stores.

The S Bette Farms website has a listing of the grocerystores that carry their products (they also have chicken wings and chicken tenders)

"Milled" means that the bran layer has been removed and it's been chopped up. So, basically, it's cooked white rice.

I think I was the one who mentioned liking the s'better farms corn dogs & nuggets a long time ago. But I ordered mine from Kosher.Com, they have other stuff like Hoffner's too. The shipping wasn't horrible like some but still pricey.

When I contacted S'better farms there were places in Ca. where you could get them but on the East coast I haven't found a place to buy them.

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
