Bright red blood means one thing; dark red blood means another. The shooting pains could be muscle spasms, or they could be a signal that something is very wrong!

CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!!

bright red, is the color. its not in my stool, it was only in the snot like stuff, and the shooting pain only lasted about 1 minute of random spurts of pain, no problems anymore.. really confused

Maybe you should go see your doctor, just to ease your mind a bit. Or you could see a different doctor if you don't trust the one you're already seeing....

man i dont get it, i have been eating way better, i got way better for like 3 days but today i feel like crap again, and now my eyes are messing up, and i looked in the mirror and there are vains leading strait to my retana that are very red vains also the eye itself is almost a faint yellow color, instead of white

Lister I have those veins for a long time now. Don't know why. Have you looked into the candida yet? I think you should just try some anticandida remedies based on symptoms and your spit test. There is lots of info. on line about natural things to try.

A red line leading straight to the iris may indicate you are coming down with a virus. My mom had those one day, I asked her if she felt okay because her eyes looked like she was catching a virus, she said she was fine, hadn't been ill in years, the next day, she was sick in bed. The line will start to bend as you get better from the virus.

That being said, I have lots of red "veins" in my eyes, but they are starting to look better the longer I'm gluten-free.

They are also not straight all the way to the iris.

Blood shot eyes are a symptom of substance abuse. I believe you have mentioned on several occasions that you are a drug user. This is highly likely to be your cause.

have you been tested for hepatitis?

Hi Lister, I haven't been on board much so this is a little tardy but anyway. You added the eggs to your diet and you felt better for about 3 days, this is about the time frame for an intolerance reaction. I would suggest dropping the eggs for a couple of weeks and substitute another high protein source in the morning. You may simply have an intolerance to the eggs but benefited initially from the added protein. After a couple of weeks you could add the eggs back and see if you get the same reaction. It's quite possible I am wrong of course but thought it should be mentioned.

looks like eggs probably not the problem, i couldnt afford them for a few days, so i was feeling prety crappy, i ate some today feeling good and im about to go sleep and still feel good. When i have reactions to foods i always get wierd sleep paterns rigth before bed, but im doing good today, a lil wired (drank caffine for the first time in 4 months) but other then that im doing good

Sunburn, windburn from being outside all day the other day licking your lips and drying them out. Use some lip balm and quit freaking out

This happens to my son when he comes in contact with his girlfriends non-gluten free cosmetics. It also occured when he would share 'combustibles' with freinds who were smoking cigs or drinking non gluten-free beverages.

Lister eat the eggs every day again for a few days. It took 3 days before you felt bad before so it may take 3 days before you react again if they are a problem. This is a normal response to an intolerance to a food, it is a delayed reaction which is one of the things taht makes intolerances hard to pinpoint.

i really really dont think its eggs, even though right now i have a fairly fogged feeling in my vision/head but i think that may be related to the 90+ degree weather we are having. i keep forgetting to call my doctor and ask what he thinks about the fatigue/ abnormal stools(becoming very dark in color and pungent in smell) nothing really new to my diet to cause new problems. on a plus side i got a note back from the hospital and they are paying 100% of my dx fees :) im out of debt almost :)

Fantastic news from the hospital! That has got to be a big relief. Hope things improve in other areas soon.

yah it was a huge relife, good thing too i think i may get sent back up there for more testing, its nice to know it will be coverd...

still dont know what else is wrong with me. doc refuses to belive its other foods, and keeps telling me, im getting better it just takes time. but i meen gah, today im not in pain but im having alot of stomic poping (its a wierd feeling like gas gets stuck pops and does it again and again and again) and my head is fogged up fairly bad. i was trying to watch a movie watched the whole thing and i did not comprehead one minute of the darn thing (this also could be that it was Ghost in the shell 2, its a japanese animated movie, so i meen it could have just been because of that) but man that movie left me really confused as to what i was watching...

He is not just a psychiatrist.  He is also a neuroscientist.  And yes, I have already read those studies.   I agree with benfotiamine.  This is short term while glutened/inflammation occurs.  As I had already mentioned, these symptoms no longer exist when this phase passes.  And yes, I know that celiac is a disease of malnutrition.  We are working with a naturopath.

Please do more research before you settle on nicotine. Dr. Paul New house is a psychiatrist.  His latest study involves the effect of nicotine patches on Late Life Depression which has reached no long term conclusions about the benefits.   Effects of open-label transdermal nicotine antidepressant augmentation on affective symptoms and executive function in late-life depression https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39009312/   I'm approaching the subject from the Microbiologist's point of view which shows nicotine blocks Thiamine B1 uptake and usage:   Chronic Nicotine Exposure In Vivo and In Vitro Inhibits Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) Uptake by Pancreatic Acinar Cells https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26633299/   While supplementation with thiamine in the form Benfotiamine can protect from damage done by  nicotine: Benfotiamine attenuates nicotine and uric acid-induced vascular endothelial dysfunction in the rat https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18951979/   I suggest you study the beneficial effects of Thiamine (Benfotiamine and TTFD) on the body and mental health done by Dr. Derrick Lonsdale and Dr. Chandler Marrs.  Dr. Lonsdale had studied thiamine over fifty years.   Hiding in Plain Sight: Modern Thiamine Deficiency https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8533683/ I suggest you read their book Thiamine Deficiency Disease, Dysautonomia, and High Calorie Malnutrition.     Celiac Disease is a disease of malabsorption causing malnutrition.  Thiamine and benfotiamine: Focus on their therapeutic potential https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10682628/

Thanks for your response.  Everything you mentioned he is and has been doing.  Tobacco is not the same as nicotine.  Nicotine, in the form of a patch, does not cause gastrointestinal irritation.  Smoking does. He is not smoking.  Please do your research before stating false information. Dr. Paul Newhouse has been doing research on nicotine the last 40 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have. It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.
