Hi! We decided to try out Bonefish Grill tonight to celebrate mine and my daughter's b-days. I've never eaten there before. I looked at their gluten-free menu online last night...but I was curious to see if anyone had actually tried the food. What did you eat and did you like it? (And did you get sick?) I would like to try something new and different....but whenever I do that - I'm always dissapointed. Let me know your thoughts, ASAP! Thanks!! :)

I love bone fish, we have eaten there quite a few times, I get the same thing most every time, Grouper with the Mango Salsa and its really really good, plus they have really good rice with little almonds and rasins in them. I hope you enjoy it! and Happy Birthday

I LOVE it!! I get the ahi tuna medium rare with mango salsa. If you can have dairy, the creme brulee is to die for!!

I've only been once as we don't have one here but I loved my dinner. Think I had Mahi Mahi and I know I had mashed potatoes. Also, I did have the creme brulee too and we loved it! We are very particular when it comes to creme brulee. I did not get sick.

ROFL! :lol: We all have such strange expectations in a restaurant!! :lol: If I don't get sick, it was a good place, who cares what I ate!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions!! Sounds like the mango salsa is way good! We ended up not going there tonight... traffic was kinda bad...so we just went somewhere closer since we had our daughter with us. We'll definitely try it out soon though!!

So true! DH and I consider ourselves foodies but now even though I still love a great gourmet meal, when dining out I'm mostly concerned that I'm fed safely. My symptoms are bloating or a bad stomach ache so if that doesn't happen I say I didn't get sick from my meal. It's funny how having Celiac changes your priorities about a lot of things.

      So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.

      I used to be able to get the Rivera yougut i havent been able to get it lately. I like getting it did say it did say gluten free. I just looking for a good yogurt that gluten free that i can add some fruit and nuts to any suggestion would be helpful  thanks
