Well, the title basically says it, but here's a link to just one of many recent articles:

I know I react to GMO corn, so I wonder how many of us will/have a reaction to the contaminated rice. But how will we know for sure?

there is a theory out that because ALL of the wheat crops worldwide are GMO (because of Yellow Mosaic Virus that is killing off the wheat crops) that that is why so many of us are developing intolerances to it. Then they mess with corn? Now rice? Great... I'll stick with organic non GMO foods thanks. (but since there isn't even any non gmo wheat anymore guess that's out!) :P:P:P:P:P:P:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

guess that's out!

Quite literally....

I wonder if promethius had anything to do with it....

Literally GM is a pandora's box. Noone knows what's inside the only certainty is once the lid is off its not going back inside.

Sigh. Will they ever leave our food alone? I know....they won't, too much money.

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
