Oh folks.....I have what we call the TRIPLE THREAT or HIDEOUS FEMALE TRIFECTA today. :(

Thrown out lower back, a glutening from last night's OUTSTANDING Ethiopian food (and this confuses me since there have been THREE intentional cheatings recently with NO reaction whatsoever), and ALSO started my period today. :angry:

the pain in the lower torso is indescribable - sorry to the guys but imagine JUST your gut and lower back killing you - then add a uterus that wants to exit your body. :huh: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my friend came over to walk the dingos, thank God, I am out of commission all day. (maybe magic place later on from drugs, we will see.)

carry on.....dingo OUT.

Got up this morning, ate it PROMPTLY for breakfast. :ph34r: Had not thrown it into trash so Costanza was not necessary (though do we not all know that I am NOT above that :lol: ). It was just too yummy and we all figured out the problem last night - - there were NINE vegetarian items, one had toasted wheat berries = I AXED them to leave that one off - they didn't. I ate around it. :ph34r: One of the owners of the restaurant is a doctor - she kept telling me things about Celiac and I asked how she knew so much - - finally she confessed. I LOVE her!!!!!!!

Well, come on now! figured eating around the wheat berries would be okay since three recent intentional cheatings resulted in NOTHING!!!! :huh: *yeah, half a pizza, and NOTHING??? WTH)

okay so - - update - - had a BRIEF period in bathroom this morning - five minutes? - glutening? I dunno. Mostly it was lower back and menstrual malaise today. All will be quite well by tomorrow. :)

Julie - - LOVE that bird kicking his leg up. Like the coach I love from MadTV. :lol:

OK, SueZee, we are expecting to hear from you today.

Light, I have a DLB, too. We couldn't stand each other until we both had moved out. Just me being gone wasn't good enough because he was such a sloth and took terrible advantage of my parents (or so I thought). Now that we are both OLD and he has lost a LOT of hair (hehe), we get along a lot better and I wish I could see him more often. We do act pretty juvenile when we are both visiting the parents at the same time . . . some habits die hard. We even got yelled at by mom and were told to set a better example for the grandchildren (he started it though . . . he ketp LOOKING at me and he crossed over the line to MY side of the seat).

Feeling MUCH better today! :)

I highly recommend Ethiopian food for Celiacs. They do use teff (an ethiopian grrain high in protein) and for their own pancake-like bread, they mix it w/ other flours. For mine, she just used teff and olive oil.

I don't know if I was glutened yesterday or not. :huh:

Just know entire torso area was not a happy place.

Am feeling like quite the dullard today, got nuttin' funny to say. And dingos are starting to stare.

Hey, Katie, one of my kids is just like that. He was the first kid to be expelled from any home school whatsoever! We sent him to boarding school for the second semester because we didn't know what else to do with him at that point .... he got "the talk" at the boarding school -- "We've never had to expel someone and we don't want you to be the first"

He's still a pain in the rear end, but he's a senior, so he can be his own problem soon.

Since I'm so sick, my kids do all the cleaning and laundry around here .... they all have to pitch in. Seventeen year old son is in charge of the yard since he can't get along working with anyone ....

Susie, sorry you're feeling bad ... QUIT eating gluten! It may not give you digestive issues anymore, but eventually it will build up. I don't think you want to be in the mental place you were before even if the bathroom issues aren't bothering you .... [/end of I can't help it I'm a mom rant]

I'd forgotten all about a conversation I had many yrs ago w/ a long-time celiac. I was still yrs away from 100% gluten-free.

He said he cheats every 6 months w/out repercussions.

I'm one of five. Even though my younger brother and I argued a lot, we were the two youngest. At times, it was necessary to team up. Talk about unsupervised . . . I think the phrase "You're not the boss of me! :angry: " started at our house. :lol:

I have six ... I hear that phrase! Usually it's the girls against the boys in our house, though the girls will fight amongst themselves and so will the boys, but they team up when it's a boy/girl disagreement.

I may be the only one who finds this video anything more than mildly amusing but I saw it today and I laugh harder every time I watch it.

I'm having post-gluten grumpiness so my fiance has been finding me funny clips on youtube to watch and for some reason this one found my funny bone. I think I've even seen it on TV before and didn't find it that funny but seeing it today was a different story.

So if everyone else finds it to be rather lame, lets just blame it on my brain being affected by gluten.

Alex, very funny video. I love those live bloopers, they try to get themselves out of it but the more they talk it often makes it worse.

Did you add the second sentence or did I just not see it??? Uh, oh, maybe the brain fog is getting worse. :huh:

My bird was dancing yesterday ... my son was holding him and walked into the family room ... the TV was on and the commercial had music that he apparently liked so he was hopping all around, bouncing and putting his crown up. It was hysterical. Then he stood on my son's head for a few minutes trying to take a nap! You know how birds stand on one foot and tuck their heads in their back .... but he kept slipping off my son's head!

He won't stand on my head because I'm the head of his flock ... he knows I'm boss. Birds are wild animals, so dominance is important to them ... and to you if you don't want to be bitten. :)

According to dictionary.com, cack (n) - a soft-soled, heelless shoe for infants.

So I can only deduce that a "Cackatoo" is a cockatoo that wears baby booties.

      Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have.It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.

      @Martha Mitchell, your reaction to the lens implant with gluten sounds like it could be an allergic reaction rather than a celiac reaction. It is possible for a celiac to be also allergic to gluten as it is a protein component in wheat, barley and rye.

      Scott I also have different symptoms than most people. It affects me bad. Stomach ache, headache, nauseous, heart racing, whole body shaking, can't walk then my throat starts to close. It attacks my nervous system. The only thing that saves me is a 1/2 of Xanax...it calms down my nervous system

      Scott Adams. I was dealing with a DR that didn't care about me being celiac. I repeatedly told him that I was celiac and is everything gluten-free. He put an acrylic lens from j&j. I called the company to ask about gluten and was told yes that the acrylic they use has gluten....then they back tracked immediately and stopped talking to me. The Dr didn't care that I was having issues. It took me 6 months and a lot of sickness to get it removed.... which can only happen within 6 months. The Dr that took it out said that it was fused and that's why I lost vision. If they would have removed it right away everything would be fine. He put in a silicone one that was gluten-free and I've had no issues at all in the other eye. Do not do acrylic!
