I've decided that my Edna goal is to weigh what I put on my driver's license by my birthday. This, of course, raises other issues such as: What do I put on my driver's license? What I think I can con people into believing?

What I want to weigh next year?

Anything I want cause no one ever looks anyway?

That is AWFUL- move to Massachusetts. But maybe after you get rid of the heinous fibroids it will have a favorable effect on ze weigt you vish to loose (I think I am getting a Svedish accent- they call John "Yawn" :lol: But seriously- I really hope you feel better :wub:

Well, bad fibroid week continues. I would NOT recommend the rapid blood loss Edna, she is much to inconvenient. I got so freaked out on Friday that I actually talked to my boss about my period (He's an MD, a pulmonologist, specifically) Gads.

Got an IV infusion of premarin Friday afternoon and it does seem to have slowed things down considerably, but my brain is toast. I turned the news on and am having a hard time following it. How lame is that.

As soon as the sun hits my (beautifully clean) swing I'm going out to lounge about. You are, therefor forbidden to put up rapid fire avs of the silly summit. Wouldn't want to miss photos of the summit of the century.

He has settled in...eating loads (he was a rescue kitty..and was very skinny ) but doesn't like to be stroked ....he backs off if you try to touch him........so we try to ignore him as much as possible until he's comfortable with us.

I wake up in the morning though and he's next to me on the bed - I think he likes the body heat

Halllooooo Sillies!!! Have just got back from a wonderful Celiac potluck dinner at JenVan's parent's house. (A hello to Patti, from Jen.) I have met Lisa and her hair is indeed curly . . . I didn't check to see if it was a wig, though . Lisa and hubby arrived on a motorscootercycle and I'm quite concerned whether they made it home or if they had to pull off somewhere because we now have a TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR!!! Lisa, I hope you made it!!!

I completely phorgot to bring a camera but Lisa's hubby took a picture so we do have photo evidence of our meeting. I suppose we all have to trust that it is Lisa, 'cause have any of you visited her profile?? It's a picture of a scuba diver . . . and she did not show up wearing a face mask and snorkel, so I just had to trust her when she said she was Lisa.

My daughter was hoping to meet another "Celiac Girl" there, but no such luck. Perhaps next year.

BTW......while in NYC, I encountered a waiting-in-the-stall-for-you-to-leave-so-they-can-poop situation. it was on Fifth Avenue, close to Central Park. I went into this public bathroom, and a woman had just entered the second stall as I came in. Sure enough, she was sitting in there for AGES while I peed, pulled up my shorts, flushed and came out. While I was slowly washing and then drying my hands, she continued to just sit there. I could not stand it. As I went to leave, I stood at the door and said, "Well?!"

Nothing.

I then said, "I AM LEAVING. You can poop now".

I am not certain, but I think she swore at me then. And it being New York City, I left. In Ottawa, I would have stuck around to see what she looked like.

Aaaarrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Spent forever trying to load the picture onto the computer.....hadn't done it since getting a new computer.......had to reload a program...........then had to fix our complexions.....(the lighting made us red! )..............put it in as my new avatar.........typed up my post........and then lost Internet connection!!!!!...and everything I had typed.........then a transformer blew........couldn't get back on for a while, but I'm finally back........so let's try this again.....(although I was quite witty the first time......sorry you missed it! )
