Sounds great! I don't know if we'll be able to make it--planning on visiting family this fall, having a little work done on the house in late September/early October--so probably not. Thanks for the invite, though....it sounds like a lot of fun.

If anything changes, I'll let you know. Even if the houses are full, we could stay at the hotel, should things work out

Perhaps by October our staffing issues will have sorted out. We have two people in training, but at the moment at least one of us must be in the store at all times. We are training two people at the moment, so there is hope.

when you realize that.......your dream is gone..........the person you THOUGHT you had is not only instantly yanked from your life under inconceivable circumstances but - turns into someone else (that's all I"ll say here)....the one from whom you were inseparable - gone......the love, fun, "security," perceived life together.........all gone.......... it's still gonna take me quite a bit of time to get over this one.

That's what strength is, cutie-pie. Being fully aware of how bad your life sucks at the moment, and still being willing to deal with it. Not all at once, of course, that's just not possible, but one by one you pull out the horrible strands, examine them, understand them and realize that these new, ugly flaws woven into your life are actually what make you strong and interesting. The superficial beauty of innocence doesn't last. It's those who have chosen to continuously remake their lives that have true beauty of soul.

Hey Sillies!! All is well. Surgery went smoothly and ended up a pretty quick process once I got past "admissions". Was home by lunch time. Had four people trying to wait on me hand and knee foot. Very little pain . . . mostly just dealing with swelling. I passed on the vicoden and asked for tylenol 3 instead (cause I know I don't have a problem with it) and am very happy with my decision. The tylenol 3 cost me about $6 . . . have know idea what the vicoden would have cost . . .I've got a 25/35/45 dollar insurance copay on the expensive drugs and I'm betting it's an expensive drug.

Can't stay on, I'm suppose to be lying down (for the swelling). Haven't got meself rigged up with the laptop yet.

I'm sleeping on the main floor of the house so I don't have to go up/down the stairs. Last night my son said if I needed anything, just to come and get him, no matter what time, he wouldn't mind. I told him I would just yell real loud.
