I used enterolab for gene testing for my family.

through promethius lab it is called "celiagene".

You are looking to be tested for HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8, which are commonly identified Celiac genes. You can tell your doctor this (just that you want to be gene tested for Celiac) and he can order it for you and insurance will probably cover it (rather than enterolab, which insurance often doesn't cover).

HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8 are the 2 most common celiac genes but a small percentage have a different gene. I have the DQ2 gene. I had mine done through Prometheus which is one of the best celiac testing companies in the US. However, we ended up paying an arm and a leg because the insurance would not cover it all and I had alot of tests done.

I used Enterolab for my daughter. Also a new one is Kimball Genetics.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
