Brands? I know that Nature-made makes gluten free ones - but not ALL of them are. I looked at 20 labels last night by them and found only 4 that came right out and said "gluten free" on them.

Any others?

I'm currenlty taking a product that claims to be gluten free (Green's First), but I've had the D after taking it...I stopped it when going gluten free b/c I'm assuming that if it gives me D that it's not really gluten free. It is a "whole food" greens drink that has a lot of goodies in it.

I also need an iron supplement - preferrable liquid that wouldnt taste too horrible.

and a sublingual Bcomplex.

Vitamin C is okay b/c the naturemade on is gluten free....

ANYONE...help?

I take a multi by Open Original Shared Link, that is guaranteed to be hypoallergenic. It is called 'Super New Thera, hypoallergenic capsules'. It says right on the label that they are casein and gluten free. But in smaller print it says that it does not contain casein, gluten, soy, wheat, corn, milk, sucrose, artificial flavor, flavorings, preservatives or yeast.

I know that they also don't contain salicylates, because I asked. If I can take those, anybody can.

I've been taking All-One Rice Base Powdered Multi-Vitamin for 7 years. I spoke with the company prior to purchasing it to be sure that it really was a gluten - dairy free product. I can't speak to the other mixes that they sell -- but I've not had any problems with the Rice Base product. Of course, if you are also dairy free, you may have to supplement the calcium as there is not enough in a single dose. All-One also has a powdered calcium-magnesium product, which I haven't tried yet.

I mix the Rice Base recommended dose with a half cup of Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk. I don't like the taste of vitamins so I mix it with the smaller quantity of liquid and drink it fast. I can take it on an empty stomach and it doesn't make me sick. Other multi-vitamins I've tried always caused some kind of unpleasant reaction.

Their products are very expensive. I purchase mine through a local food co-op for substantially less than the local retailer.

Here's the All-One website for more information: Open Original Shared Link

Take care,

I take GNC!!! Regular, at the local mall, no big deal, no shipping, and they are gluten free (says all of this clearly on the label), "No Artificial Color, No Artificial Flavors, No Preservatives, Sodium Free, No Wheat, No Gluten, No Dairy, Yeast Free" is exactly what it reads. Lame Advertisement I take the prenatal, since I hope to be pregnant soon. Love them. I also take their sublingual B12 (I have pernicious anemia), also gluten-free, also cheap.

Source Naturals list gluten-free for many of their products, as well as a whole bunch of other things they DON'T contain.

GNC???? REALLY!!!!??????

WOW, thanks. There's one at my mall!!!!

I found another company "Nature's Bounty", they're sending me a list, but they say that most of their items are gluten free and that they clearly label either way. I can get them at CVS.

THANKS!!!

Walgreens is gluten-free (at least I know their women's multi is and I'm 99.9% sure all their other ones are, too, but as usual, you should check just to be sure).

Yeah, check them out, and you can return anything within 30 days if you don't like it. So if they give you an upset stomach or something, then just take them back. Some people have a hard time with vitamins while their gut is healing. I really like how "local" they are. I don't have to go out of town! Plus, I know that they are backed by a HUGE company. Hope that helps, and you find some that you like!

Really? How did you convince them to send you a list? I asked for a list when I called them this morning about the absorbable calcium plus D and they said the there is no list available and they can only look up items by the item number on the bottle. By the way, they said that supplement is gluten free but it doesn't say anything on the bottle.

Why are so many gluten free items not safe for celiacs. I read labels all the time. I don’t know how many times they say that and are not safe for people who have celiacs. So confused. Help….
