This one is quick. Went to the dentist...first time in 3 years. Gum pockets measured...HUGE improvement over 3 years ago....dental hygiene same, if not worse, than 3 years ago....YET gums improved. I'm sure it's the gluten free diet that resulted in the improvement.

Take care!

That's great. I wonder about mine, haven't been in yet but I'll have to make a mental note of it when I do. Before learning about celiac disease and going gluten-free I had a large growth on my gums. Ended up having it removed. Can't remember what it was called but the dentist and oral surgeon both had no explanation. They just said we see alot of these but we don't know why they happen. I don't accept that. At the time I thought, it had something to do with the immune system and intestinal tract.

I recently realized that before I started taking vitamin B12, my teeth were sorta "leaning", and though the front ones didn't look different, I kept on accidentally bitting my lip

Not only does that not happen anymore (thank goodness), but I have noticed my gums look better.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
