Worchestershire sauce is almost always wheat/guten based, that is where your problem lies. I do not know where it comes from but I have found a gluten/wheat free one called Wizard.

Lea & Perrins IN THE US is gluten free, but it does contain vinegar.

In the U.S., all worcestershire sauce is gluten-free. In Canada, it has wheat.

I'm pretty sure I've seen one that wasn't safe, but I can't remember the brand. Anyway, here's an excerpt from wiki:

Vegetarian and gluten free alternatives are available; the vegetarian variety omits the anchovies (notably Henderson's Relish). 'Life' Worcester sauce, produced by MH Foods (Morehands Ltd), is both vegetarian (no meat, no fish) and suitable for coeliacs (no gluten ingredients. Note: Lea & Perrins is also gluten free).

Sickchick, do you have a prob with vinegar separate from gluten?

I do have a problem with vinegar of all kinds. I am pretty sure I have leaky gut (I was dx with candida about 11 years ago) when I eat it for some reason the next day everything goes through me (diahrea) <_< but if I know I don't have to go anywhere the next day sometimes's I'll eat it :D

I am gonna see if I can find that Wizard stuff

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
