Does anybody know any good restaurants that can cater a gluten free event in the Cambridge/Somerville area. I thought Redbones in Somerville was gluten-free, (at least most of their meat) but I just called them and they're not!

Hi, there is the blue ribbon bbq in arlington on mass ave. i live there and eat there. i don't eat their cornbread but i have everything else and don't seem to have a problem. i do ask everytime i order there. i always double check with regarding the bbq and the rice ( most rest cook with chicken base/or stock) and they are very good about checking. i think it helps when i say it is an allergy and not an intolerance they pay a little closer attention to it. they have really good food if you are looking for bbq. their number is 781 648 7427. i hope it works out for you. i am going to use them for my sons college graduation party. good luck.

Jakes Dixie Roadhouse in Waltham has a gluten free menu, and they also cater -- but I don't know if they can cater using the gluten free menu! Elephant Walk also has a gluten free menu, as does Legal Seafoods, again, I don't know if they cater events.

Elephant Walk is a bit pricey for this event. I'm just grumpy that Redbones hasn't returned my calls. In 2004 their meat was gluten-free, and now they say that it's not.
