White Cake Mix Or Recipe?

The gluten free mixes that are chocolate or spice mixes etc. have strong flavors and really are very good. However, I've yet to find a good WHITE cake mix. My favorite dessert has always been white cake with buttercream frosting and I miss that so much. Has anyone come across either a mix or recipe that comes anywhere near tasting like the wheat based ones?

Cause Your Special makes a yellow cake mix that is really good. With homemade buttercream frosting, it reminds me of wedding cake. :D

We like Kinninnick - in fact we serve both the white and chocolate and many family functions where my son is the only Celiac and no one is ever the wiser.

I love the Glutino white cake mix. It only makes a one layer cake so you have to use 2 mixes to make a layer cake. I made it for Thanksgiving in a recipe from Kraft for a Pumpkin Cake. It was delicious - even non celiacs liked it. I've also used it in the Barbara Mandrell cake many times. I think you will love it.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
