Thai Kitchen...

I'm pretty positive I was glutened by a Thai kitchen soup... because the only thing I ate on saturday was a red pepper, a bit of leftover mac and cheese (which I made myself!), and the soup...

Weird thing is that had another bowl of it today without my symptoms getting any worse.

Is it possible it was just one bad one in the batch? Or am I too damaged now to notice things getting worse by eating more of it?

Anyone else have problems with this company latelY?

I am very sensitive and Thai kitchen has been a company that I trust. I have done a home test on their spicy thai chili and it was negative. I hope you got glutened by something else.

Make sure your package said gluten free on it. Some of their old stuff wasn't gluten free. I had an incident with them a couple of months ago, when I called, that was the issue. They clearly mark gluten free on all the safe stuff now.

This was an older package (all of mine are). I can't readily go shop for food when I need it, so I always stock up. I checked the website though and it says "mushroom" is gluten-free...

I'm with you, dilettantesteph. I'm super sensative and this is one of the companies I've trusted.

I wish that I had known in advance somehow....problem is to report to the CFIA you need a sample of what cheated the labels. Clearly not possible now if I ate the whole thing. Blah...

I don't get glutened very often anymore so this is beyond frustrating.

I had a reaction to a Thai Kitchen product as well (I can't remember the exact one, but it said gluten free). I am not very reactive to gluten, and this was a definite severe reaction. I had eaten their products before with no reaction.

Some of their products do have wheat in them so it is possible that there is some CC going on. Maybe you and I got the first batch on the line after a gluten product was made. I just stay away from most processed gluten free products these days.

      So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.

      I used to be able to get the Rivera yougut i havent been able to get it lately. I like getting it did say it did say gluten free. I just looking for a good yogurt that gluten free that i can add some fruit and nuts to any suggestion would be helpful  thanks
