Hello :)

I will be going to San Francisco in a couple of months and was wanting to know what restaurants and places to buy gluten free food were in the area of Geary St, Union Sq & Powell st.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated :)

I don't get up to SF much anymore, but if I did I bet Zadin would be my fav restaurant.

Bet you'll have a great time in SF! :)

Zadin is AMAZING. Every time we're in the city I say "Hey do you want to eat at Zadin?" :P

Thanks for your help everyone :)

Just a question again - does anyone know of any places in the location I will be in? restaurants and shops to buy gluten-free products?

Thanks :)

Did you check out the google map from the group? I love that thing. Also, if you have dining cards or even a good spiel, most restaurants mid level and up are really knowledgeable and helpful. For your area, the Whole Foods and the Rainbow on the map are the best stores.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
