 Hi was wondering if any one knows of any resturants that serve gluten free meals in orlando. We are going on holiday in August and would like to take our son out for meals without so much of the worry about what he is eating. We have been 2 times before but did not really have a positive response from staff when we said he had celiac disease, so still not really 100% on where the best places are to eat as a family. The last 2 times we have taken over a lot of his food from home but theres only so much stuff you can take with you and to be honest I think he was getting sick and tired of eating the same things over and over again, also does anyone know if any of the big theme parks do any gluten free meals sorry to be a pain but that would be wonderful for him if any do thanks every one from chelly. :D

Disneyworld is absolutely one of the best places in the world to eat gluten-free. Practically EVERY restaurant there can do gluten-free. Call the Disney dining number (you can look it up online) and talk to them about it.

I just returned from 10 days in Orlando. I did not go to Disney but downloaded the gluten free menu from Bahama Breeze which is on International Drive and ate there twice and ate at Chatam House Restaurant (wonderful). I understand that the Swan and Dolphin restaurant in their hotel will make gluten-free pancakes and french toast and all. I stayed at the Peabody and they made me wonderful meals with a great attitude. So great, in fact, that I am staying there again next year! Do not go to Texas D'Brazil as we had a function there and I called them beforehand and it was a no go. I brought my own instant hot quinoa cereal for breakfast and tuna in pouches and rice cakes and peanut butter for lunches and only ate dinner out.

Have fun! :)

Good link! Just to clarify since it took me a minute to find the celiac section...go to the left side w/ links and scroll down. I was looking for it on that main page. So the celiac section is here:

But there's also information on other allergies.

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
