Is It Gallbladder?

I have not been to the doctor's yet due to work and not been able to get off.I watch what I eat from now on.Everyday no matter if I eat anything or not,I have heart burn daily and no matter what I take nothing get's rid of it.I also get a lot of gas along with this.and most of the time I feel sick with headaches and backaches along with my shoulder's hurting and left side.I also feel like I am going to pass out a long with feeling sweating sometime's.I have made a doctor's appt for this week.I am afraid to go other people are telling me it's cancer,gallbladder,heart or thyroid.

I have been having similar symptoms as you. I went for a gallbladder ultrasound and it was normal. I am going to have a hida scan next. If that turns out normal I think the doc wants to rescope me. Keep your appointment. These symptoms are not normal. I also found out gliadin antibody IgG is still elevated. I'm also having to look for hidden gluten. Even if that is a problem I still think I have something else going on. I'm not having my typical glutening symptoms. Definately get it checked out!

I had some type of pain attack on December 7th. In the ER they put the I.V. in and started explaining the surgery. By that time the extreme pain had passed and I wanted to be sure it was neccessary to have the gallbladder removed so I left the hospital that night and have been going through tests. The HIDA scan was done last week. The doctor called with the results and I am going for a consult with the surgeon ASAP. At this point I regret having waited, because I have been miserable since. :rolleyes: So wish me luck! :)

      What you’re describing is actually very common, and unfortunately the timing of the biopsy likely explains the confusion. Yes, it is absolutely possible for the small intestine to heal enough in three months on a strict gluten-free diet to produce a normal or near-normal biopsy, especially when damage was mild to begin with. In contrast, celiac antibodies can stay elevated for many months or even years after gluten removal, so persistently high antibody levels alongside the celiac genes and clear nutrient deficiencies strongly point to celiac disease, even if you don’t feel symptoms. Many people with celiac are asymptomatic but still develop iron and vitamin deficiencies and silent intestinal damage. The lack of immediate symptoms makes it harder emotionally, but it doesn’t mean gluten isn’t harming you. Most specialists would consider this a case of celiac disease with a false-negative biopsy due to early healing rather than “something else,” and staying consistently gluten-free is what protects you long-term—even when your body doesn’t protest right away.

      Yes, I meant if you had celiac disease but went gluten-free before screening, your results would end up false-negative. As @trents mentioned, this can also happen when a total IGA test isn't done.

      I found at Disney springs and Disney they have specialist that when told about dietary restrictions they come and talk to you ,explain cross contamination measures tsken and work with you on choices. Its the one place I dont worry once I've explained I have celiac disease.  Thier gluten free options are awesome.

      Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.
