was curious to see if anyone here has had luck with NAET. years ago prior to discovering my gluten problems I went for about 15 treatments and spent a small fortune and really got no benefit. i am considering trying it again since a lot of my underlying issues have been addresed but not sure if it would be a huge waste. has anyone tried it?

A while back I found some old threads on this site about NAET. They were all from a year or two ago but had some interesting info. I have not ever tried it myself but am pretty curious about it. That stinks that you didn't notice results.

If you didn't notice any benefits from NAET 'years ago', why would you want to spend 'a small fortune' again? Nothing can make the body forget how to react to an allergen after it begins to make antibodies to certain allergens. People may think (or be told that)they 'outgrow' their allergens, but they just develop new symptoms, which may be attributed to autoimmune disorders, which docs can then treat with drugs, rather than treating the cause (diet).

Have you done a repeat DNA microbial stool test? Since you have a recent history of gut bugs, I suspect that's where you need to start. If you consistently abstain from your diagnosed allergens and still have gastro issues, you should probably rule out gut bugs first.

Why wouldn't you just do a standard elimination diet or do some more ELISA testing with an allergist to see what might have changed? NAET is going to help you. Pretty much all of the kinesiology approaches to allergy have been debunked as hoaxes.

Here is Stephen Barrett's article on NAET.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
