What To Supplement?

I've come to the conclusion that all my twitching and nerve pains are probably resulting from a nutritional deficiency. I was okay until I recently started boot camp. It's a pretty rough workout and I pour sweat and feel like I'm going to die (in a good way!).

The problem with this is that I think it depletes my nutrients and because I'm eating gluten free (or maybe just not well enough!) I'm probably not taking in enough to replenish them.

So my question is, what does everyone supplement with? I'm looking for a really good vitamin and mineral supplement and also a good probiotic.

Thanks!!!

Sounds to me like you'd benefit from taking magnesium, co-enzyme B vitamins, potassium, vitamin D3, and perhaps zinc. Some other nutrients which benefit the nervous system include phosphatidyl serine and choline, both abundant in lecithin.

Though multivitamins can have many nutrients in one pill, they often lack meaningful potency for some of those nutrients. While it doesn't mean they're useless, such supplements are usually insufficient by themselves. You may find more benefit with a few separate supplements which target the aspects of health you're most concerned with.

Hello everyone, this my first time to this website and I need some help. I’m 65 years old and have been living with Celiacs for about 15 years. My doctor has suggested I start taking a probiotic named  Integrative Pro-Flora-Concentrae. Has anyone else used this probiotic specifically? If this one isn’t celiac friendly can you recommend another please. Thank you.

If a Celiac person is successful in following a gluten-free diet, they can go into remission.   They may not have a reaction to gluten without a precipitating event like an injury or infection or even emotional or mental stress.   Following a strict gluten-free diet at home, then indulging in gluten containing products abroad without a reaction can be explained by this remission.
