Lymphoma

This week a biopsy came back as stage 1 - B cell lymphoma. Further testing results are due this week to let me know if it is indolent (slow) or aggressive. That will determine course of treatment. I've read that lymphoma is not uncommon in celiac patients. I appreciate any info you'd like to share with your experiences with lymphoma. I was diagnosed with celiac disease December 08.

Have a great day.....fran

I want to thank everyone for your responses. I appreciate your time and kind sentiments. I will go to those websites recommended and see what else I can find out. I want to be as completely informed about lymphoma as a non-medical personell can be. This is a wonderful website with caring informative people. Thanks again for your support. I'll let you know what the next stage is going to be for me.

Thanks again for all of your replies. I will let you all know what I hear from the genetic testing. I feel like I'm in limbo. When I was diagnosed with celiac I went home and got on the computer, bought books and found out a ton of info real quick. This waiting for the other shoe to fall makes me a little crazy. I can't seem to sleep more than 4 hrs. a night. I know I can handle anything once I know exactly what I'm dealing with (celiac will do that for you). Coping with celiacs taught me to speak up for myself and make major lifestyle changes. Since I focus on food a lot the first thought I had was "what can I eat or shouldn't eat" to get through this....nutty huh?

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
