Hi there! I'm totally a newbie so be patient with me smile.gif I've tried starting a new topic 3 times now, but for some reason, It gets to the point where it tells me a moderator will view it and then it just redirects me to the main page and my post doesn;'t show up. I've made sure my profile setting allows posts but am i doing something wrong? Sorry!

Hi there. Everyone new is moderated by hand until you make a certain number of posts. It keeps the board free of spam and trolling. Your post went into the queue and when a moderator logs in, they'll read your post and let it through it to the board. They are around pretty often. I don't think I ever waited more than a couple hours when I first got here.

Thanks, I'll keep trying! I've tried the last two days in a row to post on the pre-diagnonis Forum. Maybe that's a busy one and they haven't gotten to me yet huh.gif

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
