Ataxia- Balance Disturbance

My off balance issue and little hair-like feelings trailing on my skin are the last of my symptoms to remain after going on a gluten-free diet. Has anyone had any success in getting balance back by using any supplements? Or does it just take awhile being gluten-free to get balance back. I have tried genger tabs and they are doing nothing. I read this is a result of nerve damage. Is there a way to repair the nerves other than time?

You might take a look at this website, which lists the symptoms of nutritional deficiencies. I see that manganese deficiency can cause ataxia. Here's the link:

Gluten free ,Soy free and time did it for me. The healing was slow but steady.

Along with being very strict with the diet I found sublingual B12 seemed to be helpful. A referral to a physical therapist can also be helpful in retraining your brain and body to improve your balance. It does sometimes take a long time to heal so hang in there.

Scott, thank you SO MUCH for this!! She has been through so much in the last three years as we've tried to track down answers. This language will definitely help me help her to reframe.
