I had 2 this morning and have been itching all day long. I feel like I have bugs crawling under my skin. What the heck is this could I be alergic to eggs. I noticed my sores are extra itchy. Maybe the iodine in the eggs is there enough iodine in these types of eggs to make my sores worse and me itchy??

Maybe. That's why they tell you to use egg whites. Some cage-free eggs intentionally have some nutrients boosted through feed.

I bought a carton of egg whites and that's what I'm using for a while.

Egg yolks are high in iodine. If I remember correctly I looked at the nutrient info on a box of Eggland's Best eggs and one egg had about 50 mcg of iodine which is a pretty big hit all at once.

Oh my god, I never understood why my DH reacted to eggs....just figured I was also allergic to egg.

The iodine content makes sense. Thanks you guys!

And I had 2 eggs.I wont do that again. I have been sratchin and squirming all day. I know my coworkers think I'm nuts. God this is awful, I can't imagine having this before cortisone cream. Some on my back started welting up. I dug at both my upper arms and elbows today so bad I was all scratched up, that looks real good over active lesions and scars. I've been a hot mess all day. Sigh! :(

You need ice packs, pronto!

And I know you don't want to hear this but corticosteroids actually stopped my DH from healing (best as I could tell). Everyone is different.

Well that explains why I have them so long it does seam like at times it take these forever to go away. I took one of my husbands Hydroxyzines last night at best it put my lights out. I am looking forward to Monday that's when I go to the Derm there has to be something they can give me.

Yes, Dapsone but it's pretty evil stuff so you may reconsider.

I think the corticosteroids kept the rash knocked down a bit (didn't have as weepy blisters as I did off it) but it never went away while using it. Got off them, the rash blew up (be prepared and do it on a Friday) but when it went down it went down further and healed like never before.

Dermatologists seem to think corticosteroids are the holy grail so be prepared for pushback, I'd had very negative reactions to injected corticosteroids so mine wasn't surprised it was giving me a negative reaction.

Well I guess I am going to be my worst enemy. I figured if I just ate a regular egg instead of the egg-lands best eggs with all the stuff in them I would be ok just 1 is all I ate last night. Well between the eggs on Wednesday the potato salad I made with egg in it and 1 egg last night I woke up to a nice blister just below my bottom and one on the side of my thigh, not meaning to early this morning when I woke up the one on my backside was itching and not realizing it was a blister I scratched and well we know what happened then and they have been hurting all day. sigh :( I'm miserable.

So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this. Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.
