  1. hm, not sure about the bread. i had a rough time when i first started cooking gluten-free, but then i made a friend on this forum, GFBetsy. She also lives by me, and we ended up meeting at the gluten-free support group here. She invited me over a few times, and helped me with a few recipes. since then, i've had less problems baking! i mostly attribute that...
  2. I work at a dental office and I know one of our doctors has recommended these to patients who don't have the money for a fitted guard. It's better than having nothing and grinding your teeth away. I grind so badly! Day and night. I have worn through 2 night guards so far, and I have terrible jaw/head aches from it, even when I do use the night guard. It...
  3. i swear i got glutened by an envelope once. it was when i was first dx-ed so it was pretty frustrating.
  4. So, some of you know how I've been struggling w/ my marriage. I don't have much of a desire for intimacy these days, and it's really grating on my DH. I feel like he just goes back and forth between frustration, anger and depression. I just go between frustration, guilt, and depression. I also haven't been working out, so I don't like the way I look, and...
  5. I thought it was always gluten-derived. How am I supposed to know when it's ok? Do I have to call every time I see it on a label?

  11. thanks for the encouragement i try and get down 64 oz of water a day. that's a lot of peeing!! the antidepressants are frustrating. i've gotten down to 1 from 3 in the past year and a half. now just gotta kick that last one. Crystal light is gluten-free? I thought it had gluten. Maybe just the Walmart brand does.

  14. yes it helps! thanks for sharing! that would suck. i'm in the process of ridding myself of antidepressants that i've been on for 5 years, and it's been very frustrating. You're right, that's probably the best way to keep the wight off. Good work Now it's my turn
  15. Hi, so I kinda cheated. I read the first page, then jumped to the last. Sorry. I just don't have time to read at the moment, but wanted to get myself in on this thread! I have a question - does anyone use/support/oppose Alli? I've been seeing it around alot, and wanted to know what y'all have to say about it. I am more looking to get back in shape, but shedding...
  16. a great response! I might just have to write into target. That's disappointing. Yes, definitely let us know what they say!
  17. I suppose it depends on where you live. At our red robins, they have offered to make me the fries w/out the seasoning salt, but then I asked, and they told me they cook them in the same oil as everything else Besides, they wouldn't taste as good w/out the seasoning! So I just make my own. I think I might react to the frying process of fries, the fat or something...
