I go to this place all the time and usually just get a salad so I was surprised when I saw Red Bridge on their bar menu. Then I pick up the specials menu and what do I see but gluten free pizza. I can not tell you how it was as they were unfortunately out of it for the evening. The waitress did say they are going to keep getting it as it is usually selling...

ARCHIVED Already A Pill?
killernj13 replied to minton's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Could be one of those supplements that does not have to go through the FDA. If that is the case they don't have to prove that it does what it states. Probably a scam. -
ARCHIVED Ma Uno's Now Have gluten-free Pizza!
killernj13 replied to mrg8610's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants

Just went to Joe's Pizza in Summit, NJ and had pizza. It was very good. Little expensive at $19 for what I would call a medium pizza. It was not an individual but also not as large as a regular pizza. It was 6 slices which I could have eaten all in one sitting. I didn't - save some for dinner. I was a little leary as I didn't know if they had...

ARCHIVED Red Bridge Beer
killernj13 replied to francelajoie's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I still think Bards Tale is better but Redbridge is good as well. I think this one will survive due to the fact it is made by Anheuser Busch. Hopefully, it will be more readily available then the others. -

ARCHIVED Movie Popcorn
killernj13 replied to skipper30's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
How long ago was this? Before their merge with AMC? Because the popcorn was gluten-free before the merge and I believe it still is with AMC controling the operations. I've eaten there before and after the merge and have never had an issue. Could it have been something other than the popcorn? For instance, Twizzlers have wheat in them which is a hard catch... -

killernj13 replied to loraleena's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
Just watch them when they mix it. My son had a small nut reaction from Cold Stone Creamery and he had no nuts. Must have been residue on the stone. -

ARCHIVED Gluten Free Beer In Central New Jersey
killernj13 replied to faegan's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Hello, Whole Foods in Madison sells beer. Not gluten-free beer yet but I guess if enough of us hound them maybe they'll get it in stock. I have purchased gluten-free beer in the Whole Foods in Manhattan on 7th Ave. If you are going to trek into the city call first because they don't always have it. -
ARCHIVED Going Out For My Birthday, First Time Since Dx
killernj13 replied to Moongirl's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
How about Legal Sea Foods? They now have a gluten-free menu. Haven't experienced it yet post DX but I know they were good prior. -
Jeff, Try the Ramapo again with a lemon wedge in it. I think that improves it a lot. DOn't waste the 12 pack - too damn expensive. Bards is definitely not as sweet as RVB. More like a dark beer or ale. Unless they change it when it is reintroduced. Also, have you ever tried a hard cider. Some are gluten-free. If you look on these boards you...
