  1. The one's that don't say wheat in the ingredients. best regards, lm
  2. So the main difference between the two is there's a lot more said concerning the health benifits of peanuts. best regards, lm
  3. They give you little manufactured containers of what I call "air-whipped spread". It's not butter nor is it even real margarine. The little manufactured containers of sour cream are really good though. You tear off a corner of the nifty waxed-paper container and squeeze out a dollop here and there, or on each bite if you like. You can really control your...
  4. I buy good flour tortillas for my family and eat corn myself. Sure it sucks, but why should they have to suffer, they don't have Celiac disease. Tried Food For Life brown rice tortillas. They were inedible. Tried making my own from scratch. Total failure. Mostly eat nachos and chalupas/tostados now. Practically live on nachos. Chicken are my fav but also...
  5. BB, The answer is easy. You broke the gluten-free fast food rule #1. Never order more than one item. Your tempting the devil. What, you think you got a free pass or something? You can just order whatever you want? You got an autoimmune disease girl. You should feel lucky just to order one fast food item and not get sick. Don't get greedy! ...
  6. Do they give you laughing gas? 'Cause I don't even get my teeth cleaned without it. best regards, lm
  7. I'm hearing a lot of extranious issues that have nothing to do with gluten-free or not gluten-free. My take on Hershey's. I will occasionally eat a Reeses peanut butter cup (with some hot buttered microwave popcorn), and I also use a little Hershey's syrup in my chocolate milk. Other than that, they've really got no other products I'm interested in. ...
  8. Amazing that a doctor could be so stupid. If that were true, I guess I could eat a loaf of bread every day. best regards, lm
  9. My Walmart gave me generic Zanax for $4, which happened to be Alprazolam from Mylan. best regards, lm
  10. I'd be willing to bet that little dog is a Celiac, and probably mold intolerant also. best regards, lm
  11. I "find out" whether something is gluten-free by reading the ingredients. I'm a huge hot sauce/salsa eater. Eat it every day, mostly my own creations. Can't recall any that had gluten. Mostly it's tomatos, peppers, onions, garlic, cilantro, and in the case of Tabasco products, lot's of vinegar (yuck, not a fan). I put tequila in mine. best regards...
  12. I ate some this past Christmas with no ill effects. Pretty good stuff. best regards, lm
  13. Have been eating gluten-free rice chex every morning for several weeks now. On my third box. So far, so good. Wrote an email to General Mills thanking them for reformulating rice chex to make them gluten-free. Never was a fav of mine before. Always liked the honey nut chex. But, gluten-free beggars can't be too choosy. best regards, lm
  14. Dear FF, Have you tried this recipe? I'm a little leery of a recipe that is all starch and no flour. best regards, lm
  15. Thanks for the link. I sent them a note of gratitude. best regards, lm
  16. This is just my personal opinion. If it's important enough to me to do everything I can to avoid getting glutoned, it's worth the effort to park the car and physically walk in the restaraunt. The drive thru is not the place to discuss gluten. Sure, you got a good laugh without having to leave your car. But, you didn't get an evaluation as to whether it...
  17. Happy birthday from me too! best regards, lm
  18. Finally found some last week at my local Walmart. Now they're out of it. Luckily I got the last two boxes. At long last, real cereal! best regards, lm
  19. I regularly eat Pop Weaver Extra Butter. It's very inexpensive at Walmart. I only pop it about
  20. Sounds good. What are the ingredients? best regards, lm
  21. I can't find it in the Dallas area. Any locals with a tip? best regards, lm
  22. JC, Thanks for the tip. I wasn't aware Jack Daniel's had a teriyaki. Three of my favorites in one bottle. Sour mash whiskey, honey, and soy sauce. Sounds delishious! best regards, lm
  23. I ran across this product at Central Market Saturday. They were featuring the brand, and had four offerings. One was on the chicken they had grilled. I asked if it had wheat in it and the nice lady replyed that it did, but that one of the varieties was gluten-free. I bought some and am happy to report that it is very good. It was $4.99 for a 12 oz bottle...
  24. At 28,595 posts, I'd be overwhelmed also. good luck, lm
  25. My dear MG, Yes, but alas, though they are salt free (which is a good thing), they are not meat tenderizers, and tend to contain a good bit of celery seed (not my personal fav). Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but meat tenderizers contain either Bromelain (from pineapple), or Papain (from Papaya). These enzymes actually break down the protein in...
