  1. I'm not convinced the airlines understand what gluten-free is and I don't really trust the meals or the flight attendants to provide the level of purity that I would (besides it's not really their job) so on the rare occasion that I get a gluten-free meal I usually don't eat much of it. I feel more comfortable when there are ingredients listed but often...
  2. I don't do Meyer's but I do injections of b-complex, folic acid and B12 plus injections of magnesium twice a week. I swear by them. A magnesium shot will kill my worst migrane or muscle cramp 5 minutes flat! I get better results with injections than oral. I like Freeda and Kirkman Labs Vitamins.
  3. Road's End makes a few: Open Original Shared Link Make sure you get the packages that say gluten-free.
  4. I'd say a weak positive is still a positive. Even if your doctor can't come up with something concrete I'd give the diet a day in court just to see how you feel. That'll be your true test. Shay, wow, your story could be mine. I love being told I need to see a psychiatrist!
  5. Here's their website. I'm not sure if it's gluten-free or not but at least you should be able to find a number. Let us know what you find out! Open Original Shared Link
  6. Just another thought. A lot of people have a problem with canola.
  7. Here's the response I got from Bob's about their coconut: Thank you for your email and for your interest in Bob
  8. I ordered those last week but didn't know that you could make yogurt with them. Do you have a recipe?
  9. I got burned badly once by Bob's coconut that wasn't labeled gluten-free. I don't have any problems with the stuff labeled gluten-free. The lesson I took away from that experience is that if a company goes to all the trouble to make a gluten-free list then there's a reason a product isn't on the list.
  10. Awesome! I was hoping you would respond with something Shay. I'm not getting this think tho...
  11. Does anyone know where I can find yogurt starter cultures that are gluten, dairy and soy free? I'd really like to make yogurt again! Thanks much!
  12. FLMA generally is available when you have a serious health condition that removes you from work for more than 3 consecutive days. I'm not sure that intermittent doctor
  13. I am fairly certain that none of the Luna Bars are gluten-free. It's a shame because they used to be my favorite!
  14. You might get better results using your oven broiler or pan searing in cast iron.
  15. All commercially produced chicken feed contains one or more gluten grains and usually soy but I think it's irresponsible for that person to make a claim that eggs contain gluten without backing it up. I own chickens and eat many eggs. I've spent a great deal of time researching poultry nutrition and discussing it with our extension service and I just don...
  16. Chebe is pretty finicky. You need exact measurements of oil and water and a consistent oven temprature to make it work. If you roll it into breadsticks it'll puff up nicely and cook all the way through.
  17. I also use Living Harvest every day. It's one of the half a dozen packaged products that I can actually consume without issue. You may be sensitive to hemp. It took me months to figure out that I have a delayed reaction and that the last things I'd eaten weren't the cause of my reaction so maybe that's what is going on with you? A food journal might help...
  18. R. Thomas doesn't do delivery but it's an awesome late night choice. I think they are open 24 hours.
  19. I like Open Original Shared Link. It's close to 17th and would be a short cab ride.
  20. Well I am not a birder and don't know that I can answer that question adequately but Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge is there and I've heard people talk about the birds there. I do see a lot of birds but birds are birds to me . I usually spend my days shell hunting and riding on the bike paths. Open Original Shared Link
  21. We rent a house on Sanibel for a few weeks every winter. I love Sanibel! We don't eat out but both grocery stores on the island have a surprising amount of gluten-free foods (cererals, pastas, bars, etc.)
  22. I've been gluten-free for four years and follow a very strict diet. I still don't tolerate oats and am painfully sensitive to CC. I don't think I am the norm though.
  23. Riceguy - do you have a brand for soy-free lecithin. I would like to try this. Thanks! janet
  24. I am a big fan of Kirkman Labs and Freeda.
  25. I also think that the restaurants with chefs tend to be much more accomodating. I think it is appropriate to call ahead and speak with the chef (the executive chef if they have one) and let them know when you're coming in and the types of things you can, or like, to eat so they aren't put on the spot when you show up and request gluten-free. Often chefs will...
