  1. what you could also do, is do the gene testing threw enterolab for 149 bucks and see if you have the gene for celiac. paula
  2. I would think with your IGa being right at the normal,. that you were just not eating enough gluten at the time of the test. I would stay completely away from gluten and see if you feel better and if so then you know you have at least an gluten intolerance, if not celiac. paula
  3. bobs red mill brownie mix, you can even get it safeway or king soopers lol paula

  5. I couldnt figure out how to make an cake or anything for my 14 yr old sbirthday. So I made a batch of gluten free brownies, then i melted some peanut butter and put vanilla and poder sugar in it and used it as an frosting. Yes that use to happen to me, i would be on the toilet and be so hot and sweaty that i would feel myself passing out, then my anxiety would kick in cause i thought i was dying, then i would get very angry. It would last like for an hour if not more. It hasnt happened since going gluten free. I would actually sit on the toilet and start praying cause i really...
  12. it is because each parent has 2 genes, and their kids get one gene from each parent. Some of the kids will get the celiac gene from each parent while some kids wont get the celiac gene from their parents. So this is not saying that your one sister is not your full sister. Its just that we all have different genes. Its just like any other gene, lets take eye...

  20. That is ok carla, i get confused all the time. I figured it would be cheaper also to do the blood test, and I am going to ask for the gene test also. Cause a piece of me still thinks they missed up on my gene test lol. I figure if the test are inconclusive then i might do one of enterolabs stool test for 99 and see what that says, but i know in...
  21. Yes it is so hard being 34 and being told no more gluten or casein, then to find out on your own soy and garlic dont agree with you, it has been tough. I told my hubby even if one more test positive the house will be gluten free, that the only gluten in this house will be his beer, since the kids cant drink that. And i just figure i will just have to learn...
