  3. good question i was wondering the same thing, i cant stand frozen bread it never tastes the same, and this bread isnt exactly wonder bread. i make the 2lb. loafs from gluten free pantry mix and its somewhat edible but gets really dry after 2 or 3 days. i keep it in a plastic tupperware like bread container. any other suggestions other than frozen would be...
  4. I've yet to try Redbridge preferring instead to patronize my hometown brewery in Milwaukee, Lakefront Brewery. hey little c have you been on the tour of the brewery yet?? if so how was it??ive been wanting to get up there.im just south of the kenosha border
  5. good point on the price ratio geoff. i was a HUGE beer drinker before celiac, but hell thats just one of the many things we deal with.i used to spend $7.00 for a beer at the white sox game so all in all its no that bad..

  9. sorry no update yet. i still have not got a chance to get out there, both of my kids baseball seasons just started so i have not had a free night in three weeks, i am dying to get there. i am going to go to" lou malnatis" for a take out gluten free pizza though, they are awesome!!!!!!!!!
  10. except for the risk of cc is it safe to have potato salads etc...from the deli. i cant think of any bad things in a potato salad. or am i wrong????
  11. when i went it was for a later dinner , like 8:00pm so there were no kids at that time but it didnt seem like a stuffy type of restaraunt. i would say give it a shot

  13. i was also told a few years ago by a dentist to stay away from coke type drinks and orange juice.i have been getting cankor sores for over twenty five years i had no idea gluten was what was causing them

  15. anybody know of a gluten free version of ritz crackers?? ive seen some of the gluten-free crackers at my grocery store ,but they have limited selection and they look just horrible.i was hoping to find a cracker similar to the ritz version, or im i just dreaming?
  16. picture didnt post. which brand did you use?? i have been using 'gluten free pantry' brand, and i actually like it. the frozen stuff pretty much sucks , i wouldnt even feed it to the ducks at the local park.congrats on the loaf!!!
  17. i had both in feb and they put me out. the only bad part was the nurses released me way too early, on the ride home i kept passing out and turned pale white , kinda scared my wife, but all was well once we got home. my vote is go for the sedation
  18. i'm in chicago , i thought the season ended in early april? what are these playoffs and stanley cup you speak of?? LOL . im a extremly disgruntled black hawk fan who vows to never go to another game until bill wirtz sells the team.i'm rooting for the WOLVES in the AHL PLAYOFFS.AS FAR AS THE STANLEY CUP, ANYONE EXCEPT THE FRIGGIN RED WINGS I HATE THEM.

  21. dx in feb by blood test and also upper and lower scope all came back positive for celiac, so i have no problem accepting the fact i have celiac and i am lving the gluten-free life, but my question is do i need to also get tested with enterolab??will that give me a better idea how screwed up my inside are??i see in alot of peoples signatures test levels and...
  22. i hear you!!! i have some of the same issues so dont think you are alone in this.although i feel better i still have days of extreme gas and big d and i have no idea where i got glutened.also ive gained at least 10 pounds in the last 2 months since going gluten free. im already over weight at 250lbs know im hovering around 257. it makes no sense. i cut out...
