    Uglies are certified gluten free! I always look for that big "G". Was going to a picnic today and brought some with me to have with my new Rustic Oat Bread from B Free sandwich. Bread holds up well in a sandwich.

    There is another brand called "Uglies" which are certified gluten-free. They are my go-to potato chip! They make different varieties. The benefits of these chips are that they reduce food waste, support farmers and fight hunger by using imperfect potatoes.

    When the new Starbucks opened near me, I drove over to get a Frappuccino only to be told they wouldn't sell me one since the machine is used for many types and there would be cross contamination. So, no frapps there. I must go to the place that only makes gluten-free ones.

    Kroeger has quite a few Gluten free items. Right now they are redoing my Kroeger store and are adding everything into the regular sections. Since this was done some new ones have been added. Publix and Ingles also have great selections. I actually shop Walmart and Food City to since prices on some items vary from store to store.

    I have seen this problem many times. I always get in touch with the company. Most times they tell me if I'm just gluten free it is ok, but do not eat it if you are celiac.     I spoke to Lays this week and was told the only chips that were guaranteed gluten free are their Simply brand chips, ruffles, cheetos and tortitos. The regular ones with gluten free on the label are iffy.

    I spoke with the area manager from McDonalds and was told not to eat the fries. Even though it is a dedicated fryer, the fries have gluten on them.

    I'm not a vegetarian. Went to a nutritionist who gave me the diet for seniors. Too much food! If I eat 2 meals a day I'm lucky. Despise most of the food. No taste.     I was diagnosed 1 year ago with Celiac. Just 2 months before I required 2 liters of blood followed by an infusion of iron. Then in August of this year another infusion of iron was required.     Ate at my local Bonefish and was very disappointed. Was given the gluten-free menu. I ordered the Cesear salad with my meal. When it came out it had croutons mixed in. They apologized then gave me a new salad. I emphasized many times that I was very sensitive to gluten. Guess I will never eat there again.

    Has anyone had a bad reaction to nail polish after being diagnosed with Celiac? I have a dermatitis breakout on both ankles. Didn't know nail polish had gluten in it.

    There seems to be no name label gluten-free beer available on the market at this time. Has it been taken off the market? Are any craft beers available?
