  4. Thanks everyone! I think I may try them again and hope that I don't get sick. Does anyone know why Amy's took the gluten free label off of the gluten free dinners?
  5. I'm living in a place now where there are Amy's meals available and I really want to eat them! I have eaten the microwavable meals before with no problems, but I think I've reacted to the canned chili and beans. I know that a lot of people have been contaminated and I don't to get sick before I start my new job.

  8. I can't eat out anymore, my reactions are getting worse. My doctor and I think that my worst reactions are due to my wheat allergy. My doctor advised that I don't eat food that I haven't seen being prepared.

  12. I just went into a whole foods market today and they had lunch meat with a gluten free label right on the front of the package! I don't remember the brand name though. Just thought that you may want to check out whole foods markets because they may carry gluten-free lunch meats. The name of the store I was in is Amaranth Whole Foods Market.
  13. Before I was diagnosed and about 6 months on the gluten-free diet I looked sick, and I was very thin. I look fine now after I gained my weight back

  15. I just traveled a very long distance by car (PEI to Alberta) and I just wanted to give everyone food ideas for long distance traveling since a lot of us cannot eat out at restaurants. The best approach is to buy canned food such as Green Giant vegetables, Heinz beans, ect and bring a microwavable dish with a cover and a can opener. Almost all the big truck...

  18. That's disapointing, I was under the impression that there were no gluten products in the restaurant except beverages. I really hope that the rice bread doesn't have gluten in it I don't know if I could trust this place. My doctor has recommended that I don't eat food that I haven't seen being prepared becasue of my bad reactions, which we think are wheat...
