  1. Depending on the job I eventually get, I will consider working on a cookbook after this summer. However, if I get an intense high demanding job then I probably won't have the time. I'm glad to see that people are interested! I've been thinking about doing this and I am very interested.

  6. I ate out at a restaurant the day before I got the bad heart problems. The food was "gluten free", but I suspect that it was contaminated.
  7. McCormick chicken cubes are gluten-free, I use them all the time. Imagine chicken broth is gluten-free too.
  8. I believe that the reguar Old El Paso Taco seasoning is gluten free. I've eaten it before and didn't get sick. I live in Canada.
  9. I've used 1/2 Kinnikinick all purpose flour mix with 1/2 Eat Balance soy butter. Corn starch would also work.
  10. That's ok! I can buy Rosie's products where I live in one of the health food stores. I've seen pizza, cabbage rolls, bread, cookies, ect. I think that the lady at the farmers markets is someone from PEI, but I could be wrong.
  11. I'm glad that you have decided to get everyone tested. Some people with celiac disease have no symptoms or very few symptoms (fatigue, anemia). However, everyone with celiac disease will get intestinal damage when eating gluten, symptoms or no symptoms. The gluten-free diet does not have to be expensive!   13. The gluten free diet will help put Crohn's disease into remission. So if you have chron's, then maybe that is why you felt better on the gluten-free diet.   14. I will get geographic tongue once in a while. I've noticed that I get geographic tongue when I have a lot of citrus.

  16. I now get severe stomach pain after going gluten-free. The pain gets so bad that I cannot move and breathing hurts. I don't get the pain all the time after an accient but I will get the pain once in a while after an accident. I never used to get pain like that before the gluten-free diet. Which blood test did she have done?
  17. How long have you been gluten free? I used to get bloating like that for about one year after going gluten-free. I only seem to have bloating now when I accidentally have something I shouldn't.

  20. I am allergic to milk so I also avoid dairy products. I read ingredients labels for dairy products just like I do for gluten.
  21. I got back some of my bloodwork yesterday and I found out that I am allergic to milk. I always new that I had a milk intolerance/allergy and I have been avoiding dairy 100% for about one year now. I'm just glad to have an official test now, so I'm not tempted to try eating something with dairy in it someday. I did some reseach on wheat and milk allergies...
