Yes, I liked the thorough review of the treatment. -

Rachel, on Scott's blog, there is a link to another blog on the photon treatment. Read the second post about the use of photon treatment and unblocking mercury. Little, this might interest you too. -

Sorry, lyme brain LOL! -
Carla, I am wondering if the borrelia load is decreased enough whether you might easily fight off the co-infections??

This is exactly what my LLMD says. He related a story of one of his kids with lyme disease who went skiing and fell, strained a certain part of his spine. After that, the lyme pain focused exactly right in that spot.

Hi Littlelymie, I know with DMPS, most mercury is excreted in urine, some in stool. Sounds like mucous in your stool. I also have motility problems. GFSF helped some. SCD has helped a lot. What helps me the most with detox is what is known around here as ecoffee. I do a c. enema after I go on my own. Other people with lyme disease also report it helps... -

Rachel, I am not sure. This was a prescription mixed up for my by the compounding pharmacy. I am supposed to use it twice a day for my hand condition but I have been pretty lax on it. Now I realize it is much more important than my hands. Sherry -

Thanks for posting about the S IgA, everyone. That is something I kind of skipped over in my Rosmed results (I didn't understand). Paula, my results are very poor as well. In March it was 236 (range 500-1500); in July it was 44 (same range). I think SCD is helping so hopefully this is better now. Sherry -
ARCHIVED Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)
mftnchn replied to AliB's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Cici, I have been making yogurt from gqat milk all along. I keep cow's milk for small amounts of cheese. I am casein sensitive but handle alittle ok. Pele Elaine mentions the brief setbacks as part of the process. I read an inquiry to her in the emails and she said she didn't know what caused this, had not been able to discover the reason for sure.... -
ARCHIVED Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)

Mia, the Enula I am on helps. I have also done several rounds of herbal anti-worm treatment, which also helped. I saw the largest amount though just a few days into the SCD. I don't want it to go any faster than my body can handle--or more naturally fight them off, because I have learned that they absorb heavy metals like mercury and release them when... -
Welcome to you here too, Littlelymie!

Yes, that is interesting! I've been on Zith for a long time. I take 500 mg a day, currently it is two weeks on and two weeks off but that isn't enough I don't think. I take 14 drops twice daily of Enula. That was the dose determined by ART. I also take atemesinin, it is in combo herb called Nutricidal. Babesia seems to be a bigger thing for me... -
Nystatin made me severely constipated. However, this is my main celiac symptom and I wasn't yet diagnosed when I was on nystatin. Many tolerate it well.

Welcome, Littlelymie! I think it is wonderful that you have found us and that you and Rachel's situation are so similar! We are all learning together. I think I have had partially blocked methylation, but I have been able to handle certain supplements really well, and I think metals are now moving out better. I really notice feeling better from the... -
ARCHIVED Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)
mftnchn replied to AliB's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Mia the temperature does make a difference I think. I try to heat mine to 84 degrees Celsius, then let it cool to 38-40 or so and add my starter. I'm not sure what you are putting in the freezer, but the bacteria can't grow unless it is warm enough for them. Yes, 8 years is a long time, though my doctor has been careful all along with the choice... -

Wow, Rachel. That was a lot--and some good confirmation and explanation. Sounds like lyme is a bigger player than you thought?? The "putting on the metal armor" analagy was very graphic. It helps to see how all of this stuff works together. I will really be looking forward to what Dr. P. says. I hope soon there is a regimen that starts to move the... -
ARCHIVED Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)
mftnchn replied to AliB's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Pele, it does sound like some kind of infection, not sure. when I get pain, fever, fatigue and it is usually a detox from killing lyme bacteria and co-infections. Ali talks a lot about bad bacteria in the gut...but I also deal with a lot of parasites. I am STILL passing these on occasion--yuck! However, I am encouraged that both my diet and my meds... -

Yes, my father was one of them. He contracted bovine TB from raw milk. There was no treatment. He lay in the sun through the summer and finally recovered instead of dying. -
Tommy, it sounds excellent. Again, let us know if you start to have herx or other symptoms, we might have some ideas you can try. I chuckled a bit at the chart...you are lucky you were given one! I've had to make my own--and everything keeps changing so I have to redo it. Keeping track of all the supplements and meds, which are with or without food...

Cici, we all have some differences in how we feel with a herx, but think "flu-like", so pain, low grade fever, fatigue is all typical. If your chips aren't enough detox (I find it pretty funny too ) maybe some of the things the rest of us have found helpful will also help you. Let us know!

Its really exciting that you are improving, Carla. Do you understand any more what the photons are doing to the cells? You mentioned to help them recognize the lyme. How does that work I wonder? Sherry
