  13. I got hives right after my baby was born. They went away after a few weeks. It wasn't anything I was allergic to that I can tell. My midwife said it was probably PUPPS given how it started on my belly then went to my breasts and then to my legs.   14. Here is an easy frosting recipe: 2 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup (half a stick) butter softened 1/2 tsp vanilla 2-3 Tbsp milk Mix together until smooth and add any food colors that you like. LOL I think you're right, it says zero for everything on the nutrition info, including fat (which we know butter and eggs have) and carbs too.....I would think the rice/tap/pot flour blend would have a few of those. Maybe they just couldn't get the nutritional info right because of the gluten-free flour since it isn't a normal ingredient.
  17. You can get lots of omega-3s from flax seed. put it in your cereal, yogurt, bread, whatever you like. For constipation, metamucil is gluten-free, I take that every day.

Bean flours, sorghum, brown rice, millet, quinoa, amaranth (pretty much any whole grain flour), flax and nut flours need to be refrigerated or frozen as they can go rancid quickly (depending on how quickly you use them as Purple said).     Every hospital has a dietician that works with the patients and cafeteria. I'm due in a few weeks and have been meaning to call the hospital. Just call and talk to the dietician or make an appt. to see him/her about the hospital food. They work with tons of patients and are used to working with special diets.   24. I tried this recipe as cupcakes and they overflowed and sank. I think there is too much moisture in the recipe. They took about 20-25 minutes to bake. They tasted good, a little chewy but good. If the milk were decreased by half I think that might help. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
