  1. Wow! That sounds good, Manna. What is Med Rice?
  2. I decided to make pasta sauce with lamb sausages instead of ground chuck. The flavor is EXCELLENT! Compliments the sundried tomato/basil pasta sauce very well. Used the usual amt. of fresh garlic, chopped onions, and fresh herbs. Served over gluten-free pasta. Spinach/field greens salad and garlic multi-grain Rudi's toast completed it. Oh yum!
  3. Tonight was baked french fries, baby shrimp, and lovely homemade cocktail sauce. For dessert, polished off a pack of M&Ms.
  4. First off, I am stuffed! We had potato curry with Takala's (no left overs) skillet bread. Oink!
  5. Tomato sandwich on Rudi's cinnamon raisin toast, snow peas, and potato chips.
  6. It all sounds so good--especially the chive bread.
  7. I'm NOT. Very rare occasion. My husband went to the store, bought fish, salad and fixin's, and is COOKING. YES!
  8. ...ah left overs...baked salmon and coconut brown rice and homemade slaw. Well, the rice won't be leftovers. Had baked french fries last night. The rice will mix it up and will make a new batch of slaw.
  9. I just ate a Manwich sloppy joe for the first time and so far so good. No reaction. The ingredients looked ok, but after reading this thread, could be a slight amt. of wheat in it. Any one else eat this product?
  10. Could I come over your house for supper? LOL!!!!
  11. Ah, yes. That does sound good I am not cooking tonight. Treating a burn and grabbin' anything.
  12. Red potatoes with butter and fresh chives from my garden, corn on the cob, and mushroom sauteed in butter, onions, and garlic. This is our farmer's market meal.
  13. Yeah, they were pretty good (I sampled one already, hehe).
  14. Haha. We're having buckwheat chocolate chip pancakes with blueberries, maple syrup (not really...bought some cheap other kind, but in a perfect world...),and turkey bacon.
  15. Take care of yourself and be well soon.
  16. Not cooking tonight. Eating at Maggiano's Italian restaurant and ordering off their gluten free menu to celebrate my HQ credentias being restored to me for passing the NTE years ago. YEH!
  17. Crock potted chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, green peppers, yellow peppers, and beets.
  18. I was speaking figuratively. My bad. Sorry. It will still be an experience to see what HE brings back from the grocery. I made him a detailed list. All of that????? he asked.
  19. Asked my husband what kind of game hunter he was. Does that mean you're hungry, he replied. Affirmative, I answered. What I'm cooking depends upon what he brings back
  20. Having blackeyed peas, collard greens with vinegar, and dill flatbread with herbed olive oil dip.
  21. I'm going country tonight. Cornbread, blackeyed peas with onions, and collard greens with vinegar. Oh yum.
  22. What brand sweet potato fries do you buy? I got some today at Wal Mart. Didn't say gluten-free, but read the ingredients and didn't see any. Here's hoping for the best. I like Johsonville. Their brats don't have enough msg to bother me unless I eat them several days in a row.
