  1. Strange question for a gluten free/ wheat free site.. If you are celiac or gluten intolerant just stop eating wheat. If you are neither of the above but you find wheat bothers your toes , same outcome stop eating the poison.....
  2. I agree with all others..If he states you do not have celiac then ask about gluten intolerance or gluten sensitive...Now days they say there are 3 million un-dx'd celiacs running around the US.& more than that are the ones who are sensitive....soon we will take over the world!!!!
  3. So I now see that you are very knew to gluten-free... Just so you know healing does not happen overnight it can take some people two years or more. Some even after five years have stomach issues.. Your body needs to adjust to the changes that is taking place..It was used to something(wheat) & now you are starving the wheat out of your...
  4. I'm not sure how long you have been gluten-free but two times being glutened at any time is far to many...If you are new to gluten-free then you may be detoxing. Then by getting gluten you are sabotoging your body...You may need to eat clean for a few months, meaning no junk food, no eating out, just plain old meat, fish, veggies...
  5. It almost makes us feel like we shouldn't eat any thing but meats, fruit & veggies for sure! Yes, that is probably the way we should go....
  6. Sounds like you understand the issues you face , now just to overcome them.. I know that can be difficult to say the least.. 7. Your body may be de-toxing, or you may be sensitive& getting gluten from utensils, dining out or a product around your house....For instance pet food ???? scratched plastics, scratched pots & pans ...
  8. You may be being to hard on yourself expecting more from your body than it can give... Six months to heal from celiac is pretty darn good for most.. Acceptance of anything is sometimes hard to digest, you maybe telling yourself your okay with things but your sub-mind may be thinking different...causing an internal war within... I truly...
  9. I agree with Kareng, any artifical sweetners makes me ill, stomach pain, headache a cheap drunkl!!!
  10. Just a side note! Some products are wheat free but not gluten free, you will want to look for products that are labeled gluten free therefore making them wheat free...Wheat free means no wheat but could have rye or barley....
  11. We love the zorjirushi--- a true workhorse that will last for years... There also is the Bready which is SIMPLE to use but you need to buy the gluten-free mixes for that one&it is pricey..I know a couple who owns this & they love how simple it is but again on sale $50.00 off but the mixes gets expensive....
  12. I agree with the other posters here... But I'm sure at three days you are not 100 % gluten-free, you are truly just in the infant stage of learning about this disease...and I also would never tell anyone to cheat that just doesn't fly well with me.....but I also don't think you will die eating a thanksgiving gluten meal... ... in this...

Many people are very sensitive to CC factors so many of those never eat out for that reason.. I understand it makes life harder but this does happen. ARCHIVED Depressed

You are fairly new to the gluten-free lifestyle.. I know these will be things you do not want to hear but !!!!!!! For most people the greiving process needs to take place. Hell yes, you naturally would be depressed, you have lost your way of life you've known since your early years...Most go throught the greiving process just...

  24. I agree but I never had a practitioner tell me I could eat gluten in fact they told me up front that it would not clear an autoimmune disorder... SO I guess that is where I would say QUACK!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it is amazing that pour bodies can tell us something...if only we would listen we could save ourselves alot of grief.......
  25. It's mind over matter...... focus on what you can have & not what you think you might miss....For me I had to pretend I was in another country & the foods, flours I used were not available so I had to use what was available & learn how to make it taste & look good to eat... I removed all the gluten supplies in my house...
