  1. I agree with Tiffany. I think that sounds like an allergy petty bad so if you think that soy is causing that I would avoid it. Try to pay attention to everything you eat to make sure nothing else is causing that.
  2. Many look normal and many don't even get symptoms.
  3. That's fine. McCormick will not hide anything They are a good brand when it comes to that. Do you have the list of brands that will clearly indicate gluten in the form of wheat, rye, barley and oats on the label?
  4. Gatorade is gluten free, Minute Maid I am pretty sure is gluten free, but I do not trust Tropicana. Could you be getting gluten in your system from something else and think its that? How long have you been gluten free? Some people are sensitive to additives(non celiac related)
  5. I like the Apple Pie ones and the Cherry Pie ones.
  6. Yes, I forgot to add what she mentioned above....DO NOT go gluten free before testing. It can mess up the accuracy of tests.
  7. It is very common and can be activated by a number of things. Mine was activated by mono. Anyhow, it sounds suspicious and I think you should at least be tested to be safe. There are over 200 symptoms with celiac and some people do not get symptoms so it is impossible to tell by symptoms. I would recommend getting a complete blood test done(EMA, tTG, IgA...
  8. I have been glutened by kissing so I am one to say its not a good idea right away. I like the guy to drink something I know is gluten free a little bit before kissing me to get some of that residue down. Its a personal choice though.
  9. I have been glutened at the dentist before so now we check everything that he ever puts in my mouth.
  10. Yep, it just means one of us thought it would fit better in a different category so we moved it.
  11. Alot of people in general have problems with caffeine...it is not necessarily celiac related.
  12. Let us know how it turns out
  13. I know their honey BBQ that we use by Kraft is gluten free....Kraft will not hide anything and will clearly indicate it on the label if it has any.
  14. I have never had a problem with CC from this brand.
  15. There are medication lists but if they are not name brand you should either call the manufacturer directly or call the pharmacy and they can find out or give you info on how you can find out.
  16. Disodium -I don't think I have ever heard of that containing gluten....where did you find that? Annatto is gluten free but that is one of the additives that some people can react to(not from a gluten standpoint)
  17. You should definitely get tested....doctors are just crazy sometimes when it comes to celiac. Takes them forever, especially if you do not have the supposed "classic" symptoms
  18. I know the beefstew is ok:)
  19. I don't believe the hidden valley ranch dressing is gluten free but I am not 100% sure on that. Kraft ranch dressing is though
  20. Did she have any other tests run for celiac? The IgG is the least accurate of the bunch of tests but is usually one of the first to elevate with celiac. It is obviously high for a reason...it does not mean nothing.
  21. Welcome to the family Let me know if you have any questions I would be happy to help
  22. It is monosodium glutamate....it is so bad for you. Open Original Shared Link MSG intolerance is not an allergic reaction, but a powerful drug reaction. It is neither a necessary additive, nor a harmless flavor enhancer like common table salt. MSG actually tricks your brain into thinking the food you are eating tastes good. That paragraph I got...
  23. I think I have only found a few with gluten. I am careful about it because that stuff is easily breathed in
  24. I use Kraft all the time...they will not hide anything and will clearly say wheat, rye, barley, or oats right on the label if it has any. I use Kraft all the time...they will not hide anything and will clearly say wheat, rye, barley, or oats right on the label if it has any.
