  1. It happens to everyone. Many people seem to have trouble with that company...you overlooked it and made a mistake. Don't beat yourself up...you did not do it intentionally. To the poster before me, Quaker Oats gluten free products are known to have high levels of contamination and should not be considered safe.
  2. Haven't tried them yet but have been looking for them.
  3. As far as sodas are concerned. All coca cola and pepsi soft drinks are gluten free and so is dr. pepper.
  4. They are not on my good side right now.
  5. You will have to contact Scott(admin) about it because us moderators don't have that ability to my knowledge.
  6. I don't have a problem with this brand. Many big main stream brands almost always have a risk of cross contamination and make products containing gluten.
  7. It's a personal decision. Sometimes I will have them and others I will not. After recently hearing that they share oil I am definitely not really for eating them because who wants to get sick and cause damage you know.
  8. Everywhere that serves gluten is a potential chance of having gluten in their gluten free items. Many places just hire random people that know next to nothing about the cross contamination importance. Just be careful when you go out to eat.
  9. All Propel and Gatorade are gluten free.
  10. Many well known gluten free companies still have that cross contamination risk. I have not run into a problem too much with the brands that have the cc risk. You see, they clean the lines in between but they put that there to cover their butt.
  11. How rude! I'm insulted too..I mean they make us seem abnormal or something
  12. Yep it is gluten free...one of my favorite drinks!
  13. I love propel and have never had a problem with it...grape is the best flavor!
  14. I use Tom of Maine deodorant but I found it only covered me for about 6 hours and then I would start smelling like sweat so I also have other deodorant that is not natural:( ...I like the natural stuff
  15. I am sorry to hear that. Maybe as your body heals you will be able to introduce more foods? Anyhow, stick with what you know is safe and if you can tolerate canned pears or cooked ones then go for that instead.
  16. Sorry you are feeling bad. Yes, it is likely the gluten causing that and you should not go gluten free before testing unless the testing means nothing to you. If you know that your body reacts this way doesn't it make sense to eliminate it so you feel better? I mean I know it's a pain in the butt and may be hard if you do not know for sure but think about...
  17. The Common Market is in Frederick and they just moved to a bigger place...they have alot of gluten free products.
  18. I have never had a problem with TCBY but I do not trust their toppings so I stay away from them...hate that response!
  19. Some people never get symptoms with celiac so it is impossible to tell by that...this is one reason it is so hard to diagnose. Anyhow, what happened to you can trigger celiac. Pretty much anything that causes stress on the body can trigger it. Mine was triggered by mono. I think you should be tested for celiac though. There are over 200 symptoms with it so...
  20. Thank God we can still have Starbucks! I could not live without em I drink their products alot
  21. I threw mine out and started over because it was easier that way and then I was assured that I coudn't possibly be glutened from my makeup because if you use the same stuff you did pre gluten-free then you have possible residue on the makeup
  22. I had a major problem with weight loss. How long have you been gluten free? If you would like you can email me and I can give you some of what I did to help gain it back and I gained over 20 pounds
  23. Yes, if it says gluten free you are usually good but check the label anyways because that is a good habit to be getting into and just make sure there is not something obvious on there that would contain gluten. If it says wheat free then it probably has rye, barley, or oats in it so definitely check that label good.
  24. MSG does not contain gluten but with the general population, some people react to it very badly from a non celiac side of things. Sorry to hear you got sick.
  25. Sorry to hear you got glutened. I hope that it does not last long for you. P.S- you should go and complain to the manager or even higher.
