  1. Im eating midel gingersnaps rght now. I've never had a problem but I'm pretty sure they are not made on dedicated lines, so that could be problem.
  2. Before I went gluten free by our own decision about a month ago, my stomach would be gurgling and popping and making freakish noises every night as i lay in bed. Sometimes we would put a microphone to my stomach to really amplify the weirdness. It was really funny. But now im gluten free i havent noticed any of that, so my first guess is that you are getting...
  3. Haha..okay I'll calm down.I gave up refreshing the enterolab site so I guess I'll just wait until the email arrives. I'm pretty sure I know what it will say, so I'll wait. Luckily I've got a few things to keep me busy. I'll be showing my dog Monday and other things so I will calm down. Thanks for the reminder!!
  4. Thanks=) Does anyone know if they send out results during the weekend, or do they only do things on weekdays? Because we had to send it monday, tuesday or wednesday so they would get it before the weekend.
  5. Hi, Im really sorry I cant address your other questions, besides the one about the blood tests. No, they are not reliable. I had 3 negative tests, and I still went off gluten and my headaches, stomach aches, and spitting up food is gone. My pediatrician and GI both told me there was no way its celiac, im probably just born with the tendency to be constipated...
  6. Thanks! I've been gluten free since the day before we sent it off. I've been a lot better, not as much bloating, headaches are gone, not so many stomach aches, etc. The website says to allow 3 weeks, so I only have three days left but I'm being crazy about it. My whole family says I sound like a broken record because every hour or so they hear: "not available...
  7. That looks like a good recipe! I'll have to give that to my sister as she makes amazing gluteny cinnamon rolls that I miss so dearly!!
  8. Everyone is different, although im not confirmed celiac, i feel better of wheat and dairy. My main problem was constipation. I was losing weight, about 20 lbs under weight(i am 13, 5'4.5, and i got down to 80lbs) I was having stomach pains, and low iron and daily headaches Other people have diarrhea, weight gain, joint pain, some people have no symptoms...
  9. DH means dermatitis herpetiformus(sp?) it is the skin rash associated with celiacs
  10. Breakfast: Cream of rice hot cereal, envirokids (panda puffs are peanut butter, koala crisp are chocolate, gorilla munch is corn pops, and leapin lemurs is peanut butter/chocolate) breakfast cereal. Rice chex, corn chex, and other chexes other than WHEAT chex.Egg and fruit. Fruit salad. Can he have dairy? If so, most yogurts. Apple sauce. Gluten free waffles...
  11. Just here to say thank you! Tonight we had vegetarian burgers(amys gluten-free/CF) bistro burger. I made namastemama's version, 1/2 the recipe, and it was PERFECT for a bun. I put it in a cereal bowl, perfect size, held together, great taste! THANK YOU
  12. Bulk bins...bad idea. Bulk items are usually contaminated, whether other things have been put in the same bin and not cleaned out, or something gets dropped or mixed in, its just not safe.
  13. still not here.... 5 days and it will be 3 weeks! hopefully it will be a fast five days.........
  14. Our rice dream says gluten free right on the package. Ive been using it for like 3 weeks(thats only as long as ive been gluten-free/cf, so what do i know?) and i havent had any problems.
  15. Lucky!! Have fun, maybe when you get back you'll have your results early!
  16. I sent a private message to a member and they kindly wrote back the next day, so I replied to them. Then they replied again to me and I would like to answer their question but i'm not allowed to send another PM until tomorrow at 10 am. Why?????
  17. I dont know about our closest walmart but we were surprised to see a very small gluten free section in one of our local grocery stores. Its about 1/4 of the length of the whole big shelf and it has pretzels, baking mixes, pasta, crackers, cookies, its really helpful(not any less expensve though!) and theres also in the same store under the frozen entrees...
  18. Thank you! I hope mine are early!!!!
  19. My doctor said it was pointless to do further testing for me. I had negative blood work and he said he'd run another panel, the panel he ran was for inflammation, not the celiac panel. Also, since I am a vegetarian, he told me my constant bloating is from eating beans and vegetables! He said get beano and you'll be fine! He's like, some people are just...
  20. I'm going. Crazy!!!!! It's been 2 weeks and I don't want to wait one more!!! I can't wait that long!! It's impossible!!!!!!!!!!! I can't take it!!!!!!!! Okay enough dramatic effects, how long did it take you to get your results???!!!!!!!!
  21. eerrrrrrrrrrrrrgh. its been 13 days, i sure hope it comes early. Something like maybe, 13 days!!!sorry i just am so anxious anxious anxious!!!!!
  22. I'm only glten free while waiting for enterolab results, so I'm not truly confirmed celiac about 1.5 weeks into the diet and feeing great I made "the cravings place" allergen free cookies and a hot one fell off the sheet coming out of the oven and landed on the floor. I know I saw stuff all over the floor but I popped it in my mouth anyway. Later I was really...
  23. Another thing, I've seen a few recipes online that use cold mashed potatoes in place of flour in recipes. You may need to cut down on the liquids in the recipe as the mashed potatoes probably make it more moist. Just a thought~
  24. Is it because of soybean oil or eggs? Our local health food store sells veganaise which is mayo with no eggs, it also uses canola oil so there's no soy either
