  1. They have the ingredients on line. The one I looked at didn't have any gluten.
  2. You put this in the Super sensitive section so, I am assuming that you are Super sensitive? . A super sensitive has a reaction to much smaller amounts than cause a reaction in most Celiacs. If that is the case, you can't ease up on trace amounts of gluten, can you? If you think you may have " grown out" of NCGS, eat some gluten and see how you do...
  3. You can get them at lots of stores - even target and Walmart It is made from wheat but highly processed and tests below at least 20 ppm. I might worry about eating a large quantity of of it, but I wouldn't worry about a tiny dab in a couple of bites of candy. They use it a lot in gluten-free baked goods in Europe. Because it's made from wheat, in...
  4. I bet there are lots of them in Los Angeles! Or do you mean Louisiana?
  5. This is an interesting news article. http://www.thelocal.de/20140623/student-vulva-firemen
  6. I think we need to find out what he has been tested for. Don't need to scare him with " super sensitive" stuff already! Have they checked the obvious - thyroid, Celiac, colonoscopy & endoscopy, gall bladder, anemia, etc.? After he is diagnosed as a Celiac, then he can decide if he is super sensitive or not.
  7. I meant to say lemurs, too! Love those guys! I really like giraffes, but Addy had that covered. I just scooped my piggies up and set them right on a towel and then carried them. They don't like getting picked up but they really hate the feeling of legs dangling and flying , thinking a hawk has them! Ohhhhh.... Piggies.... Pot bellied piggies, baby...
  8. So hard to choose....... Dogs and cats, of course. I love sea turtles.... But then there are sea otters.... The wrens in the nest on my screened in porch.... And what about dolphins? Orcas? Those are great! Bunnies.... Pterodactyls. - love to see them flying with their funny long legs hanging behind. Oh wait! Red pandas! Love those...
  9. This is a celiac website - so when you say you had a reaction to things & a Celiac relapse - naturally people reading along assume you mean a gluten reaction. Many won't read past the title, so , even my clarifying post won't matter. Sorry you ate something that bothers you.
  10. We are grilling pizza - too hot to warm up the house. I am making some pesto to go on it with some fresh moz, maybe a smidge of pasta sauce.
  11. Nutrishake! That makes more sense! Thanks, Dee. I couldn't figure that out for some reason. Lol

    ARCHIVED Branson, Mo

The kettle corn at SDC is gluten free. It's just corn, Oil, salt and sugar. All they cook in the pots are gluten-free. I am trying to remember what I ate last time I was there ( last summer). I think I brought something for my lunch and had frozen lemonade! Yummmmmmmmmm.
  13. Are you talking about Nutrisca Dog food? What foods are your trying to eat? Maybe that would help us to help you with some suggestions.
  14. A reaction to dairy or gluten-free oats does not mean the item contains gluten. The Crunchmaster crackers I get, don't have oats.
  15. Here is the info about follow- up testing. Open Original Shared Link If you want to eat some gluten - ONCE- and see what happens, why not? Just don't think its OK to eat gluten if you feel fine. It will still damage you.
  16. These tests are from 2011? The doctor never said a thing to you? Wow! We completely understand that Celiac is better than some other diseases. So don't worry about that.
  17. I just saw your reply on another thread. You have a daughter with Celiac? You can't move her in with a guy who could hurt her because he doesn't believe in Celiac. Your child should be your first priority, over even your own health. And certainly a priority over a man who doesn't want to deal with medical issues and needs.
  18. What Addie said about kettle corn . I eat several brands of salami - boars head & Columbus are 2 that I can think of.
  19. Let me get this straight - He doesn't believe you/ thinks you are lying He tries to force you to eat food that is poisonous He is unwilling to do something because it is extremely important to you Sure. I would move in with him! He's a catch! Obviously, you can't with live this guy right now. And you need to say so. Your health should be the...
  20. Last night we went to the big Jazz in the Woods. No food allowed in except for medical reasons. But, as long as people weren't taking in big coolers, no one even checked. I took some nuts, some peppered salami, cheddar, grapes, cantelope, Glutino vanilla covered pretzels. Got som wine, some kettle corn and some more wine there. Going back tonight. ...
  21. Yay Addie! I have 2 crockpots - 4 qt and 6 qt. When we have people over at Christmas, you can cook things in them. Also, its good to cook in them about 3/4 full - so sometimes you need the bigger size. Or when you want to cook squash and something else at the same time. I don't mind being a kept woman! Not at all!
  22. We find a dry Riesling goes very well with toasted marshmallows. That's what Hub, M & I had last weekend with our marshmallows. We didn't add chocolate or grahams. I bet a nice Zin would go well with the chocolate.
  23. In Addie's case - add a nice picture of a giraffe! Lol
  24. In menopause, you aren't making as much estrogen as you used to. Why would you want to get rid of the little you have? I wonder about that functional med nurse. Or perhaps you misunderstood? The broccoli med is to help you use the little estrogen you have? Also, not sure what is meant by "re-absorbed"? Unless you are taking oral estrogen - then Celiac...
  25. I see it! Spaceman will have to fly off first!
