  2. This is last years guide. It really doesn't have everything you could have at the baseball game, but maybe your team is there and you can see what they have this year? Open Original Shared Link
  3. A lot of pro ballparks have gluten-free food now. Some even have a gluten-free stand. Ours has Redbridge beer, chips, candy, hotdogs ( no bun and ordered from the grill not the main concession), popcorn, limeade, sodas, limeade with vodka, wine, mixed fruity blue adult slushes which are probably gluten-free, I haven't checked them, ice cream, froz lemonade...
  4. A way to email the parent company: Open Original Shared Link And, the article was still there a few minutes ago. I'm going to assume it may take a while to get it off the site.
  5. Looky at the note he just sent me: Hi Karen, We have already contacted More Content Now, the news service owned by our company, GateHouse Media, about the issue and have suggested they alert other publications. Jim Jim Konrad Executive Editor However, this is a big company. I still think some more phone messages couldn't hurt. I hope this...
  6. Just got this response. Hello Karen, This article appeared on our website only, and was part of an automatic feed from our news service. It's been removed. Although the article was about varying degrees of gluten intolerance, and not necessarily about being gluten free, it is not acceptable to run only one recipe, which included wheat flour. Jim Konrad...
  7. I called this number, chose operator option and left a message that I thought it was a tasteless and potentially dangerous April Fools Joke. I would urge others to do this, too. A big media company like this needs to know that it isn't funny to tell Celiacs to eat whole wheat flour. They wouldn't tell someone with a peanut allergy to eat a recipe with...
  8. Open Original Shared Link They are all owned by Gatehouse Media. I see phone numbers but no email.
  9. All the websites look the same. I wonder if they are all owned by the same company.
  10. I went here and wrote to several of the emails listed. Open Original Shared Link
  11. I tried to contact the paper but they let you type out a note but then it won't go. I think its a stupid April fools Joke.
  12. I hope you commented. Love the question of which things might have gluten in them. I wanted to answer " the recipe we posted"

  14. Just because you didn't have celiac 10 years ago, doesn't mean you couldn't have it today. A colonoscopy doesn't check for Celiac, so it that is all you had, you weren't tested properly. Sounds like you need a new doctor. Or at least show your doctor some info from a source he can trust like the Univ of Chicago Med Ct. Open Original Shared Link ...
  15. celiac blood panel?
  16. Probably not enough time eating gluten. Too bad. But if she has been gluten-free for 2 years and still not growing, that doesn't seem like the problem. Open Original Shared Link
  17. Probably be half price then or Easter Monday! But get your traditional yellow Peeps soon. Some stores have already sold out and Peeps need to be yellow chicks!
  18. I agree with Gemini. Why not spend the money on some legit Celiac tests first? I think that is $300-400. Much cheaper than all the tests/ treatments for the heavy metals. A 1-2 yr degree in CAD or wiring isn't really the same as a chemist or medical doctor. I have 2 boys leaving high school with that and they have no clue how the human body works...
  19. I think this list is a bit incomplete but its a good start. I think all the Peeps are gluten-free but they don't list them all as being gluten-free. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  20. Assuming you have Celiac - Its only been 3 weeks. You probably haven't been completely gluten-free. There is a learning curve and it sounds like you are eating food you haven't prepared. Meaning- you might not be getting a reaction because you haven't stopped making antibodies. Even if you had been completely gluten-free, antibodies can take a while to...
  21. Are you diagnosed with Celiac?
  22. Actually.... I have heard that they can make some dishes without soy. It might not be quite the same as it won't be marinated or have the same sauce, but it will might be a nice option for some.
  23. You know..... Not all the gluten-free dishes are spicy? We all order from the gluten-free menu when we go. That way we can share.
  24. I think the idea that "that heavy metals will quickly bury themselves deep into the body's organs and tisuses" is a bit odd. A metal isn't a living organism, it isn't trying to hide from you. If you really think you have been exposed to lead or mercury, you need to see a " real" doctor. There are legitimate tests for this and there are a lot of quack...
  25. Doesn't sound like you had any Celiac blood tests. You might want to request a full celiac panel. Glad you are getting an endo. Make sure they do lots of biopsies, even if they think it looks OK. celiac damage must be viewed by a pathologist with a microscope.
