  1. Just to let you know - all the posts on this thread are over 6 years old. Any product information should be double checked. Many products may have changed ingredients in that ampount of time.
  2. Perhaps in one of our communes, we could make this restaurant . My son would be fine with it being gluten-free. You could make the sauces to offer. We might need to go above 50 topping choices!
  3. Who needs scented candles when your house can smell like bacon? My oldest used to tell the girls in the lockers around him (in middle school), that if they really wanted to attract a boy, they wouldn't spray that perfume stuff that was floating onto him. They should smell like cookies or chocolate or bacon.
  4. When my almost 20 year old was home for Thanksgiving, he was putting the "encore" smoked turkey on everything - encore hamburgers & pizza and nachos as well as other things he could find like salsa, BBQ sauce, bacon, red peppers, etc. We were joking that he will have a restaurant that serves 3 things with 50 topping choices - hamburgers, pizza and nachos...
  5. It says you can do it in the crockpot! You know I love my crockpot!
  6. The Boy Scouts call that " garbage bowl" breakfast. 70 today! We had grilled chicken with hit wing sauce for the guys, BBQ sauce for me, red skin potatoes in olive oil foil packets and carrot sticks.
  7. There is a protection on this forum that does not allow new members to personal message other members. It is to prevent spam. Ideally, this forum works best when you post your questions and allow many others to answer with their experiences and info. It is likely others have the same questions you do. When you start to gain knowledge and experience, you...
  8. The blood tests measure if you are currently making antibodies. If you aren't eating gluten, you aren't making any. Read around on the Univ of Chicago website for explanations of the blood tests and print some out for your doctor. Or get another doctor.. Open Original Shared Link "Which blood tests should I have to screen for celiac disease? You...
  9. You will notice that my picture changed to Santa. He is now gluten free and he wants gingerbread!
  10. My migraines almost completely went away off gluten. I have had maybe 3 in 3 years and they were just the beginnings - lighter headache and wierd images/light sensitivity. I was able to get rid of them quickly with target generic brand Excederin (says gluten-free on box).
  11. So, just to clairfy for the masses who can't wait to make gingerbread palm trees and surf boards... that was the flour blend you use & it has no "gum" and you add no gum? Just some ginger is the only difference?
  12. Open Original Shared Link Doesn't mention Xantham. Gingerbread men and palm trees? How do you even know its Christmas there?
  13. What kind of all purpose flour are you using? Some have the Xantham gum added.
  14. Open Original Shared Link Just glancing through and they have at least 2 varieties, Breakfast and Fiber with cereal? That have wheat. The plain doesn't seem to but it says processed in a shared facility. Like everything else, read the labels every time!
  15. I think the tea was upsetting my stomach. Just a blech feeling. Tried Patti's sour cherry drink - it's a really god cherry limeade! So yummy but it isn't helping my joints. My hips are getting worse. So I'm trying this from Rosetapper. The oils have no taste in some Sunny D ( left over from Thanksgiving for the nephews) but it is oily. Only been...
  16. Then it is not oficially a new month and I can continue to live in denial that Christmas is coming! Patti - We are going to PF Changs tonight! How about you?
  17. I think you know what you are supposed to do. Cancer is the least of the troubles you will cause yourself - infertility, osteoporosis, etc. Please get some info from reputable medical sources like these: Open Original Shared Link Associated Conditions Malignancy The malignancies occurring more commonly in patients with celiac disease compared to...
  18. If you look at a picture of intestines, they take a lot of " bends".
  19. You have never met a giraffe? The tongues are very rough and they like large marshmallows and graham crackers. The large marshmallows are funny. You put them on their tongue and they chew away. They probably won't let you give them marshmallows anymore. .
  20. Did you notice that there are " men" but only one " woman"!
  21. Please remember that this thread is 6 years old. Do not use info on a product that is that old. Re-verify the gluten free status.
  22. Is that C for California orColorado State?
  23. We have talked about traveling food often. Here is one Find out what hotels you will stay at. Call and see if you can use a microwave. Mention " medical necessity". Ask if there are grocery stores nearby to restock. The bus should be able to let you keep a cooler in the luggage hold near the door for easy access. Then you can take gluten...
  24. I had several. Went back and the doctor "burned" the scar tissue. Hurt like Hell while he was doing it and was sore for a few days, but it destroyed the extra scar tissue. Used super slippery condoms and lube for the first few times with hub. Glad my boys don't read this forum!
