  1. Not sure why you need to change the hot dogs, popcorn and yogurt. In the US, there are very few, if any, that contain gluten. It might be easier for you to just tell your daughter to only eat what you send. That way she or someone who doesn't understand won't have to decide. But I see your point. It would be easier to say " Honey, you can eat anything...

  3. You saved $10,000 on the boob job!
  4. This is an old thread and most of these poster are not active here anymore. Envelope glues gluten free. This is an old myth that just keeps circulating.
  5. from Dr. Fasano: http://somvweb.som.umaryland.edu/absolutenm/templates/?a=1873&z=5
  6. Why not? All's fair in love and chocolate! The pb might not shine thru with the stronger chocolate. You could marble some pb thru it when it is just starting to set. Hmmmm.....
  7. One more! These are great but they are at thier best for about two days as the cookie bottom gets dry and crumbly. Haven't tried another mix or recipe for the bottom which might work better. Open Original Shared Link Thinking this thread should be called "Ode to Peanut butter and chocolate"
  8. Sorry Bunny! Peanut butter truffles 2 cups (11 & 1/5 oz ) milk chocolate chips 1/2 cup whipping cream 2 tablespoons
  9. I hope this doesn't confuse you but this is thier gluten-free list. Read the paragraph above each section carefully. The first section are the products they test for gluten free. The second have no gluten ingredients, they do not test them and thier is a possibility they are made where they make things with wheat. This does not mean they have wheat or...
  10. NO. Not rude. I just didn't make it clear. Call the GI office and see if the reaults are back. Sounds like the only way you are going to find out.
  11. Let me try again. She may have gotten the results but not understand or feel she should interpet them. They don't just say "Patient has Celiac". She would prefer you speak to the GI about the results. If this were me, I would call the GI office and see if the results are in. The findings on this may not tell you what is wrong. It may just tell you...
  12. Sometimes labs, xrays, and pathology reports will be sent to the doctor that did them & the regular doctor. So in this case, they sent the pathology reports (biopsy reports) to the GI who did them and your regular doctor. Get a copy. Your regular doctor may not understand the results and would prefer the "expert" GI tell you about them.
  13. This is good but needs to be kept refridgerated. We made this when I was in kindergarden except we didnt have ziplock baggies back them. Karen
  14. Maybe we should change this to the "I love PB" thread? These cookies freeze well. And taste good if you can't wait for them to thaw. Emeril
  15. You are a mom of 4? I think that's normal for any mom of 4. It took me at least a year to get more energy. But it took that long to get my vitamins more normal. Also, I had to move more to build up stamina.
  16. I don't know! I don't know how to screen print. I have no key for that, so I suppose I need to know the magic incantation for it?
  17. When I tried to view I got this: [#10171] You do not have permission to view this attachment
  18. Read around on the forum. There is lots of info. Allso, Read and copy some of this info for your doctor. The docotor might take the info seriously if it comes from other doctors. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  19. I merged this post over here because it's just a continuation of this discussion. This will keep everything together and save the confusion of 2 separate threads. Carry on!
  20. While we should be angry with Dominos. we should be furious with the NFCA! They know that we will see a restaurant proudly displaying thier symbol and a "Certified by NFCA" and assume its as safe as it gets. Even if it says "Amber designation form NCFA" who would know that is anything to worry about? Most Celiacs are not on C.com or any other newsletter...
  21. It's brand new so I don't think too many people have even seen it at the store. I haven't. But I will try it when I do. This was from an article on Monday. "Starting today, Michelob ULTRA Light Cider will be available nationwide (excluding Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Utah, Wyoming and Oklahoma) in six packs of 12-ounce clear glass bottles."
  22. What makes me grouchy is - how will we know it's an "amber" rating? We see gluten-free and think its gluten-free not gluten lite. We might have caught it here , but other places say NFCA certified gluten-free & we think it's safe. If they said "NFCA certified amber level" or "NFCA certifie gluten lite", then we would know. Being "certified" conveys...
  23. I agree for me. I think many Celiacs do well with a few of the " gluten-free replacements". Most of the ones that do well, are not on here for more than a few weeks! Now for the important reason for my post: How do you make these? Do you melt pb in the chocolate? If you do a separate layer, how does the pb stay on when you dip the chocolate...
  24. Even a small crumb that you can't see is causing an immune reaction. Whether you notice it or not, doesn't mean it isn't happening. It might not manifest as a "stomach" issue. It may be a headache or something else you don't realize is related to gluten. Cc is an issue. The amount of flour that would be in the cheese from the flour on the workers...
  25. Mine changes. Right now I'm liking coral. Just planted some flowers like that. Or orange....
