  1. Usually, a nurse reviews this stuff & sometimes its referred to a doctor at the insurance company. Let them deal with your doctor's office. They can give them a list of symptoms and a "rule out MS" type diagnosis and ask for an approval of an MRI or whatever else they think you need. Doctor's offices do this all the time so they should be able to handle...
  2. I'm sorry you are feeling bad. As we all told you on your thread about Reeses, they are gluten free. Its possible something else got you - like work or the gluten eaters in your home. Sometimes we can't ever exactly trace the source. Just some crumbs you didn't see, someone used your Peanut butter by mistake, etc. I think you should continue smoking...
  3. What Richard said. IF they want to sell it in the US, they have to follow the rules and list wheat.
  4. Maybe no one added a post to the thread?

  6. I don't ha ve time to look fot it, but we had a thread about toaster bags and a link to how to fold your own envelopes of parchment paper.
  7. Actually, bowling might be fun! My dad is 77 and still bowls every week. It's fun to watch the others bowl, too. You mentioned a baseball game, if you are coming up to KC Royals, you can bring food in. Look at the stadium website for the size of containers. Do you have any local theater? Or high school jazz band concerts? Mini- golf?
  8. I think that's worth about $200 a week!
  9. YAY...YOUR BACK!!! LOL!

  10. Does it actually have cucumber and green tea in it? I think they use those things in "natural" facials to soothe skin. Glad you found something so easy and cheap!
  11. It might be easier if they stayed longer, but maybe he needs a calendar? Even just print it off the Internet or draw it with big squares & put it in a notebook. Split the squares in half ( morning & school half...afternoon/ evening half). D for dad in the morning, cause he is waking up there, M in the afternoon cause he is going home to Moms....
  12. Sorry, I'm not trying to bite your head off. Putting up old or inaccurate info can be very confusing. We have at least 500 people read these boards every day. We try to give them accurate and fact based info as much as possible. It took me less than a minute to check that that info was untrue . However, someone will read that the cheese isn't gluten...
  13. Sounds like what boys at that age do when angry or hurt & are helpless to fix things. He can't re- paint the door at his age. Maybe he should give money to the school to fix the door? If he has $12 he has been saving to buy something, then most or all of it? He should present it to the principle himself ( call first, of course). Maybe he...
  14. First of all, ever believe product info that is 8 years old. Check for more up-to-date info. A good place to check for that is the companies website. Spreading rumors and ancient info is not helpful. Open Original Shared Link Do Land O Lakes
  15. I try not to buy the injected meat. But not because of gluten. They inject salt water and the sodium content goes way up. One brand I saw was 5 times as much sodium as plain chicken.
  16. Maybe you have a contact allergy, too. Just one more thing to deal with? I don't spray things with gluten because the stuff floats in the air & lands on my lips or in my mouth (I talk alot, OK?)or on my toothbrush or water cup. I don't like to put gluten ingredients on my body because I would use my fingers and it would be on my fingers. Fingers...
  17. American cheese is a mild cheese. It is a style of cheese like Swiss or Cheddar. The processed cheese foods like Velveeta get lumped into that style or name - American. We have gotten American cheese at the Deli counter that is delicious and completely different from Kraft singles in flavor & texture. (not bashing Kraft or these products - I love...
  18. Poor Scott! Rice Guy, we thought this was a "just for fun thread" and responded that way. We had no idea that this is so serious to you and that the ad has offended you in some way.
  19. I wouldn't worry about walking in a bit of oatmeal. We don't eat regular oatmeal because it may have a small amount of wheat in it from harvesting and transport. The amount of wheat that could possibly be in oatmeal on the floor is very small and should wash right off your feet. Unless you wash your feet like a cat?
  20. Hey karen...you all right?

  21. I think I said that first? But a space alien or Voldermort growing out the side of her head is more fun!
  22. Open Original Shared Link Some possible triggers for migraines. Chocolate is listed. That doesn't mean it triggers migraines in all migraine suffers. Also, not all migraines have to be " intense". Everyone I know who was put on daily migraine medication was first instructed to try to avoid the common triggers. The combo of Exederin does help me....
  23. Shhhh! Don't tell the city! I'm growing 3 basil plants in my front yard landscaping! One grew there accidently (stray seed from trash) last year and did really well but gardening isn't allowed in front yards.
  24. Can't add to my previous post this late but more news on Colorado State. My son was in line to get a Subway style sandwich in the dorm cafeteria. He got his but before he left, the girl behind him asked for gluten-free. He stayed to watch and chat up the girl. The counter staff changed gloves, pulled out a big purple tub. Took out of the tub a special...
