  1. I would be mortified if my kid did that at 16 or 36. I guess I would feel like I didn't teach him like I should. J doesn't really have a summer job, so if you want to sail the 7 seas all summer.....he always liked the chickens at the petting zoo & The neighborhood Evil Kitty always liked him better than his own family. He could build an elevator...
  2. We can give you lots of potty training advice and tips, but, until he can be somewhat regular on the pooping, it may be hard for him to learn. I have 2 boys. For peeing, it's good to see Dad stand & pee. Let them stand and pee. Seeing it helped my boys. Also, when the weather is good, if you have a yard, let him run naked and point out when he...
  3. He stole flower or light bulbs? Somethings wrong with that boy!
  4. If you have been gluten-free since November, the blood and endoscopy will likely be negative.
  5. Yankees stadium as well as other MLB stadiums are offering gluten-free options, some even gluten-free carts or concession stands. http://www.(Company Name Removed - They Spammed This Forum and are Banned).com/2012/03/not-just-peanuts-and-cracker-jack.html Sorry that didn't work. Try this: "New York Yankees (Yankee Stadium) - Pizza at Famous Famiglia...
  6. Once in a while, my hub makes some cookies for work with "real" flour. He uses the old gluten baking sheets. I clear the counter with the mixer off so its easier to clean later. And put everything away in the kitchen. He uses a plastic cover that came with the mixer. It helps keep flour from flying out. We clean the counter after but still, the next...
  7. The area around Disney is full of people walking. Some of it depends on which side of the park you stay at. It's so big. If you stay at one of the parks hotels, I have heard they have gluten-free pancakes, etc if you ask ahead.
  8. We were ther 3 years ago. There are groceries and " quick" shops around. You can get yogurt, milk, chips and nuts at the 7/11 or Quick Trip. You might ask the hotel you are staying at about local grocery stores. I think there is a Whole Foods not too far. Some hotels have shuttles that will take you places. There is a sort of bus line ( trolley) that...
  9. Cheese in the US should not be a problem. I have seen a few fancy cheeses with beer in them but that is obvious and not on nachos. PF Changs , pei Wei, outback steak house , Wendys, Chick Fil A are usually good about gluten-free. We have restaurants that have " gluten-free" menus that aren't really. They will say at the bottom or if you ask, that...
  10. Get some dark Chocolate. I ate Dove. It is supposed to help the same part of your brain that wheat affects. Not sure if it's true, but it seemed to help me. Make sure you are eating, too.
  11. I don't put on a "fake smile and blinders". A gluten-free diet isn't the end of the world for me. It has its moments, but once I got the hang of it, I don't mind it because I feel so much better. Coming on here and insulting people won't get you much support if that was your intention. At the risk of making you angry...well...angry-er and directed at...
  12. On a TV cooking demo, they were using a little electric coffee grinder. There are also small food processors you can get for not much money. If all you want is to make bread crumbs, you wouldn't want a big expensive food processor.
  13. Ooo! Forgot about the shrimp! The have some yummy hot dogs, too. The Rotisserie chicken if you have a recipe to use that in. Maybe little tostada? Iris and I will bring a nice baby gift!
  14. Veggies and hummus, corn tortilla chips with salsa ( love the mango peach one) or guacamole. I have heard the chicken sausages are good ( & say gluten-free). Sounds good to me. I'll be there!
  15. If I felt like wasting the cheese....I could shred some up, put regular flour on it & seal it in a Baggie. In a few days I would likely have a gloppy mess as flour gets very sticky with a little moisture. Corn starch would work better. Flour is used to help stuff stick together. I guess if it worries a person, they wouldn't get shredded cheese in...
  16. Why are they " out of the question now"? Do they contain wheat or barley?
  17. I don't know if there is soy in the balm, but lanolin is from sheep so that wouldn't be soy. Coconut butter or oil is often suggested.
  18. Hi Bunnie! Haven't seen your toes around lately! I did notice she said something about hopping into bed to warm up.
  19. I wasn't too sure about this guy's chances on the first few days of the journey! Jess was not sounding pleased!
  20. Open Original Shared Link Here's the US list. I know it's hard for me to get a list for another country. I guess it looks at where you are and gives you your own country. This list is a bit confusing. It does list the wheat for hash browns but says its hydrolized which is considered to be so processed it's gluten-free. The shakes are...
  21. Well...could I pick the bread?
  22. I would be careful of cc, especially frying in the same oil as breaded stuff. Appleby's has a gluten-free menu that clearly states at the bottom that the fried items they listed as gluten-free aren't as they are fried with the many non gluten-free items. We have a travel thread and a restaurant thread you might get some ideas from.
  23. Open Original Shared Link Read the ingredients? Check the website? I just googled spectrum mayo. Those are your best places to check ingredients.
