  1. What time are you going? I might be able to get a plane and meet you! I looked at thier website and it said: "Located in downtown Redmond, Graces 5 offers delicious local cuisine in a tranquil atmosphere. We use local sustainable ingredients wherever possible. All of our dishes are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and low sugar but you'll never...
  2. This is kind of gross & I have no actual scientific basis...its just a gross thought. Is is possible that there was some gluten from the old gluteny days stuck in the teeth and covered in that stuff they scrape off? the first time I went, I felt glutened all day after. But not any of the times since. Yuck!
  3. ] Please note: Depending on the age, babies are often covered in gluteny cheerios and teething biscuit crumbs. Wash thoroughly. Obviously, we are just joking about the babies and the sardines. Only sea lions eat sardines for a snack! We have 2 long threads on here of what people ate for breakfast & dinner that might be...
  4. Sorry. I don't know much about this. I would call the vet school, or two, at the university and see what they are teaching to fix this. Another place to get some opinions might be a Golden or Lab rescue group websites.
  5. "People are fed by the food industry, which pays no attention to health, and are treated by the health industry, which pays no attention to food." ~ Wendell Berry
  6. I thought you sounded a bit off......Ok more than a bit. Glad your back "on".
  7. in this thread, they talk about the Sodastream machine. She used fresh fruit with it.
  8. I, too am enjoying the travelogue. However, I fear she is leaving the juciy bits out. Its cold and she snuggles in bed with a pirate?
  9. Should have brought the cats! Noahs Ark was probably warm! Thanks for the voyage report.
  10. Isn't it great? I live between 2 groceries that have it in the cold case....ready to drink! Cheers! Do you mind my asking what sort of job you have between 7 & 11? Maybe you should be going for something stronger?
  11. I agree with Raven on the US tax thing. I believe it's must be 7.5% of your gross adjusted income. It's the difference in costs, not the total cost. So if a gluten-free loaf of bread is $5 and a regular one is $2. You could use $3. You need to keep proof of the regular bread price as well as the receipts for the gluten-free loaf. If your adjusted income...
  12. I saw someone on TV yesterday saying this is good for "gluten intolerants". To me, its still wheat and I wouldn't risk it without alot of testing by a reliable source (the lady on Dr Oz is not a reliable source in my mind). "Einkorn wheat (from German Einkorn, literally "single grain") can refer either to the wild species of wheat, Triticum boeoticum...
  13. What town?
  14. I like it better the next day when the noodles soak it up! I second Skylark - keep them separate.
  15. Yes it did. I have had people complain that the posters are rude for not responding becuse they don't realize they are responding to people who have moved on. or the info was out of date because they don' t see the date. So I like to point that out. There was a thread of this topic recently the new poster could have chosen to respond to if he wants a...
  16. For me, poop was all over the place - color & texture. I figure that there might be some damaged stuff to clear out the first few weeks. I also think it takes a while - months or years, to get the whole system back on track.
  17. Just to let you know that the last post was almost 3 years ago so this isn't a really active thread. The people posting may not still be active on the forums.
  18. Open Original Shared Link Target, whole foods & some groceries have these. Our WF has them in the individual cold section As well as the regular soda section. This is a good way to taste them without buying 6. Don't expect them to taste like diet coke or pepsi.
  19. Cc means "cross contamination". Oats are a good example. Regular oats, due to standard harvesting practices, have wheat in them. This is cc. Sharing a pb jar with a wheat eater will cc the pb from the bread crumbs on the double dipped knife.
  20. Just to let you know....the last post on this thread was almost 5 years ago. The posters probably are not still active here.
  21. Cc of a dairy product is pretty rare because they don't put gluten in most dairy items. They can't make things like bread on the same type of machines. I think a little common sense is necessary.
  22. Welcome. Look at these two threads to get ideas of what people eat.
  23. It's really my iPad and fingers trying to type that are swaying and jiggling. Just saw 6000 sq foot, nice, newish house with expensive pool and landscaping. I could see the quality of the landscaping and patio because it backed right up to the highway. Who builds a nice house with a highway in the backyard?
  24. I am jiggling along on the bus. I A bit hard to twype whenn we keep hitting bumps!.
