  1. I don't want to jinx myself! I might or might not get one!
  2. The info from these posts, except the recent one, is several years old. Please check for updated info on any product mentioned.
  3. That punched look was how my son's looked, too! We asked if he got hit in some way but he didn't. Or got lotion in his eye. Sounds like it might be an allergic reaction to your lotion. Whether it's a gluten thing or something else.
  4. If you have gained 10 lbs in one week, run, do not walk to the doctor! You are retaining a lot of water. That is dangerous to your heart! This may have nothing to do with your GI tract. Go to the regular doctor. Call & ask to speak to the nurse. Tell her you have gained 10 lbs in a week. They should get you in right away.
  5. Send a brief note like what you wrote above and the attachments. The email address is on the website: Open Original Shared Link Maybe hearing it from a doctor who knows about Celiac will help your doctors.
  6. In the US, in any state, you can get copies of the medical records. For lab results, it's easier to get them from a doctors office, especially if you are already there. The paper record belongs to the doctor or facility. The information belongs to you. You can't ( except in rare circumstances) take the record from the doctor's office and leave him with...
  7. Henny Youngman said, "The secret of a happy marriage remains a secret." Hope you find the secret! Short & a bit funny.
  8. Maybe you can add a joke or something? Or something funny from childhood? Like - her first love was her cat - she said she was going to marry her. I used to say I wasn't going to have kids, I was going to have Kittens.
  9. Some parts are true. right? - You are her sister. -Is she an amazing person (remember she could be amzazingly mean or nice)? -She probably is a beautiful bride unless she's dressed like Elvis. - It is a special day - not everyday you get to dress up & wear a bridesmaid dress! Thank God! _ You really do wish all that stuff...
  10. That sounds like the name. I bought generic cause I'm cheap & trying to teach the boys thriftyness. & even with 1 eye swollen up, he could read the small print & check the active ingredient.
  11. Use this, just don't mention that she hasn't found the prince yet. You have to kiss a lot of toads before you find a handsome prince. Lucy Van Pelt, in Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! Look up wedding toasts, maybe get some ideas.
  12. To my friend,Suzy,.. may you have a wonderful life - with or without this Bozo! To Suzy and Bill, May you grow old together in a happy and full life and the little gold-digger not poison you for the insurance policy! This is hard! What about just some generic best wishes and a happy life thing? Don't need to say how wonderfull he is.
  13. We should rent a tour bus (one with a good bathroom) and try them all!
  14. Here's from Mayo clinic: Open Original Shared Link Common causes of rotator cuff injuries include: Normal wear and tear. Increasingly after age 40, normal wear and tear on your rotator cuff can cause a breakdown of fibrous protein (collagen) in the cuff's tendons and muscles. This makes them more prone to degeneration and injury. With age, you may...
  15. The more active people I know, get the rotator cuff tears. We were white water rafting & the guide told someone that if he kept paddling the way he was, he would blow out his rotator cuff. I think overuse or incorrect use can cause it.
  16. It rains and the dead plant stuff turns moldy! Yeah! One more allergen!
  17. Changing the lotion makes sense. Might not be gluten but some other ingredient. Might be whatever is in the air in AZ. Try the eye drops. Can't hurt.
  18. Here it is prime Ragweed season. My son who never had problems before, woke up with one eye all swollen up. Doctor looked at it & said it looked like allergy. Said to get an OTC eye drop with (where are those reading glasses?)" Ketotifen". The brand name started with a Z or X. And to take Zyrtec. Not sure if that is gluten-free or not (likely it...
  19. Just because they don't test for gluten, doesn't mean they put any gluten ingredients in the product. There is a difference.
  20. My hub, the guy across the sreet and the guy next door have all had this. None of them have Celiac. 2 required somesort of surgery & one just resting the shoulder. I'm sure I know other non-celiacs who have had this. Its seems pretty common.
  21. I use it. They told me it is. They may have said that it had no gluten ingredients but not tested. A carrot has no gluten ingredients but is not tested for gluten. Its still gluten free.
  22. Marilyn, I thought you lived in the US? The best way to get a copy of lab results is to get them from the doc who ordered them. It's hard for labs to legally verify you are you to give you copies. So most don't handle that. They will send a copy at the same time they send them to the doc to anyone the doc specifies on the order. That actually may not...
  23. I thought that's what you were trying to say!
  24. If it's fed barley, is that considered grass fed?
  25. Just took Jeff's suit, shirt, tie, belt & shoes filled with socks to the UPS store. She didn't seem surprised to ship suits to college boys.
