  1. I don't think I posted this one. They also made a really nice one for the school but haven't put it out on Youtube yet because it might leak secrets to the competition. J is in the first picture, lower left corner in white. They have a website. www.mmr2410.com It is updated only when you might expect teenagers would - when they have a lot of homework...
  2. Good for Michele & the doggies! I have been busy trying to get the Robotics team ready for a competition this week & 2 days after Spring Break. We are going to Utah Sunday for the week.
  3. I think you should wait until you are getting your nutrients. You should get your iron, ferritin, b12. d & calcium checked. I wouldn't try to get pregnant until those are normal.
  4. Go on the websites of the Celiac centers. Print off info about testing first degree relatives. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link This one says info for doctors and list relative as a reason Open Original Shared Link
  5. I just use Gluten Free Pantry brownie mix. They are great! The chocolate fudgey layer and the mint icing make them so good! I'll post that part tomorrow after the kids are off to school.
  6. Do you want to make these? I can give the gluten-free version recipe. My son loves chocolate & mint brownies and he doesn't have to be gluten-free. It's easy.
  7. Terrifying! Why did this never win an Oscar?
  8. Your small intestine is about 16 feet long. Even if 75% is damaged, you are getting some nutrients through the good parts. If you are gluten-free, you start healing immediately. Not all parts right away, but some everyday after a few weeks. It would probably be good to see what you are low on and keep track to make sure you are getting what you need....
  9. You can go to any fast food place & use the restroom and not buy anything. Grocery stores have them, too. I have even stopped at a hospital and used the one near the entrance. Shopping malls always have one near the Food Court area. Big stores like Walmart, Target Kohls, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Lowes, Home Depot are all easy to use. Pf Changs is...
  10. Sometimes I eat cereal or hot cereal like cream of buckwheat or Bob's Red Mill Mighty Tasty. Then I will have some Hormel sliced ham or turkey. I usually microwave it for 15 seconds to warm it up. You can eat anything for breakfast really. But leftover pasta or pork chops don't appeal to me. Toast with peanut butter, sunflower seed butter or almond...
  11. You might want to get some of these flat cutting mats. I got 2 for $1 at the dollar store. You can put them on the counter and prepare your food. They are easy to store. Open Original Shared Link
  12. That's soo, sniff, beautiful! Sniff, I have tears in my eyes! I really love the way you wove lacorsse in there as yesterday was the official first " jamboree" games for my boys.
  13. They might know something about Celiac at the University of Chicago Celiac Center. Open Original Shared Link
  14. Can you pick M up at the airport? He is on his way to campfire cook and live with the bears!
  15. Divinely inspired!
  16. Oh no Lo! What is with the docs that think its OK to wait 2 f%&%&ing long weeks? Well, Psillies, we must step up the psilliness to keep LO's spirits up!
  17. What sort of dancing gets you warned?
  18. Maybe a lovely boy to bring you Mai Tais in the tub?
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  20. Gee Eff, the robot seems to be only interested in annhilating inflatable pool toys. However, the boys are playing lacrosse and enjoy hitting others with the sticks. Funny to go to a game and hear moms screaming " Hit him, Jimmy!". It goes against the Mom Code.
  21. Mods- feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place. I was posting on a PF Changs thread and thought, we should have the commandments of eating out - restaurant or others house. Thou shall order the gluten free dessert.
  22. They expect you to pay those things come hail, snow, flood or earthquakes. I have tried several times to collar and leash some new Psillies and drag them over. Maybe that's the wrong way to get them here? It works with stray dogs!
  23. Have been to 2 different ones- 2 times in Aniheim by Disney & many times here in KC. Always had good luck. The food is very salty. There could be something that doesn't agree with you. I always feel a bit bad because I eat too much. It is a Rule of Celiac Dining: Thou shall partake of the gluten free dessert if one is available.
  24. There have been many other threads on here for both Disneys. Email the food service if you have questions.
  25. I second the bring your own food if possible. It will be cheaper, healthier and no chance of getting glutened. You could bring a thermos with pasta or soup so you would have something hot. I put salad dressing in the bottom of the container and then put the salad on top. Keeps the lettuce from getting mushy. Turn it upside down for a few minutes before...
