  1. read up on coQ10, inre: balance. good luck
  2. i would be cautious in doing the gene testing "on the record", i would not want to give the insurance company reason to turn done testing in the future. We know that the two genes tested for in the USA are NOT the only possible genes...
  3. way incomplete blood testing, and now that you are gluten free it is too late, you would have to do a challenge.
  4. i am wondering if those who get that initial "rush" of a day or twos relief of symptoms are "flying" on adrenaline? wonder about adrenal fatigue? not sure that is considered a real thing in western medicine... just a thought. and you return of sym suggest a glutening. Anything new in the diet? even a new package of an already checked product? soap...
  5. Stacy, start your own thread, often persons here are not going to "see" a post this old.
  6. please! pay mind to the fact that he needs gluten in his system every day till the biopsy! don't waste his/your time doing it if not.
  7. sounds like a atypical migraine...
  8. has it been made clear to these little reprobates how serious what they did was? do they understand that, very much older and they could be arrested? even, perhaps at their present age? assault is not something to be brushed off.
  9. OP, i am thinking you must have good insurance....
  10. your low IgA makes your IgA tests moot. however, you IgG test was also neg, though higher.
  11. the second one is "equivacal" ie, iffy. you need the whole panel, and prob. the endoscopy. with plenty of samples.
  12. did the doc do the WHOLE testing panel? all six/seven tests?
  13. perhaps the bile duct is not working? or there are residual stones? some how the bile is not making to your intestines to help in digestion of fats, it would appear.
  14. if you have gone gluten free, it is too late for testing. you need to be eating gluten right up to the testing, all testing.
  15. why did the doc not send you immediately for blood work, that was not a bright move on his/her part.
  16. B12 of under 500 with symptoms is not acceptable. there are three forms of B12 commercially available: hydroxocobalamin, methylcobalamin, and cyanocobalamin the first two are the preferred, some can not use third at all.
  17. they likely did not say anything to protect your feelings. This is going to sound harsh, get over it. you are WORTH the work. you are worth your families respect. BUT, you need to demand it, you are going to put them out of their comfort zone, so be it. Yes, humor will help, but if you are the introvert/private sort, this will not come naturally...
  18. yup, not EVERYTHING is related to gluten. you really need to get in with a gi doc and get worked up. are you being REALLY gluten free, totally, absolutely? good luck which ever way life takes you.
  19. i am hazarding a guess the 17 year old wanted something from you but was not able to ask directly. i don't mean a concrete "thing", necessarily, attention perhaps. anyway, you need to get back to taking care of your self. i suspect you have been a "caregiver" all your life. there is a saying, "ain't nobody happy, if mama ain't happy"...
  20. do you take statins?
  21. i am presuming that the boils were dx as acne inversa, which can have a relationship to celiac in some persons
  22. after you get yourself squared away, these docs need reporting. out right lying to you...
  23. some persons have found it easier, especially with nongut issues, to eat the gluten before bed...
